Am I the only one in the 5:2 world fasting today

It has been a breeze, which is always a nice surprise, I did 3 little meals starting out at 11am with veggie sticks as I needed to munch, very late lunch was green soup portion off this site eg mushroom garlic an spinach. Got in a yummy coffee. Moved onto small dinner and have just experimented with a nightcap of almond milk, cinnamon stick some cardamom seeds and coco. Had to sweeten with honey.

Only got 6:1 in this week, that's the second week in a row but surprisingly I am maintaining. Will be back on the 5:2 wagon next week when life is less hectic. I have a BMI of 27 in my sights

Happy fasting today for any northern hemispherians :)
This is my very first day fasting.

I am on a train up country to attend a family funeral. Have been on it for 4 hours so far, only another 5 hours left. Have just eaten half of the soup and mixed beans I brought in a flask, though they are already barely warm, I will eat the rest at tea time.

I am nervous about when my sister collects me from the station, as I know she will want to feed me and they eat too much unhealthy food.

I am prepared for the fact that this may not be a 500cal day, but I'd rather stick to my guns. I am not in the mood for an argument about my "faddy diet" so won't be telling her about it! At least this way I don't need to worry about the food at the wake!

Fingers crossed by a newbie

Late to let you know that I'm in today. Forgot it's my birthday but I've been on site since early. Breakfast would be too early anyway, lunch was very unappetising so that's me gone all day nad it's nearly dinner time. Might not stay under 500cal but it will have been a 16:8 day, so win-win.
Your day sounds good Gillymary!
Hope your train journey isn't too bad and your sister doesn't force feed you, Karen. Like me, if I go over the 500, you'll still get the benefit of a fast in the 16:8 way, so all is good.
It's really really quiet fast wise- even for a Sunday!
Hi,

I am fasting too today after a few drinks and a massive late dinner last night. I have been logged on and off since early this morning as browsing and reading stuff in the forum keeps me motivated. Having a recharging-the-batteries day at home as it's gone chilly and cloudy here in London.

Keep fasting. - Venere
Happy fasting all, I did my fast yesterday (i know... who the fk fasts on a saturday?? lol) :D. Was a breeze as always, hope everyones having a great day!
Thanks betsy, just chomped through some very tasty Lebanese food and having a wee bit of chocolate marzipan. 'S good!
I am fasting too.. for the first time ever - on a Sunday
No, I don't think I could fast on a Sunday, and miss my roast dinner when I don't have to. :) Good luck to everyone who is but that's not for me. I've picked to fast on Monday and Friday, so it's tomorrow for me (2nd f/day) and I'm looking forward to it, bring it on!!!
Happy Birthday janeg :)
