Well here I go again. Soggy, miserable day here, been slothing about all weekend do very little, even the dogs are bored. So had some coffee, playing Scrabble online, will walk the beasts when rain stops...hey I think that's now, ciao! Happy fasting anyone joining me
@GMH I was fasting along with you. I lasted until 7pm then DH dinner looked too good to not share. So I did manage a long fast and then ate a regular meal with wild and brown rice. There is always next week

How did you manage. Agree with the weather it is miserable but the wet so needed. Scrabble on line is that 'words with friends' ??
In as always for Sundays...after a short sleep.. :sleepy: here in North America. Tomorrow is significant as it is exactly one year since starting this WOL for me. Lots to think about and happy with where I am now. More later once it dawns here...meanwhile, good luck to all you fellow fasters east of me. Hope it's easy or at least tolerable and you are getting to your goals too. :like: :clover:
Duh sorry thought it was sat thread so not fasting today but beat of luck to everyone.
@gillymary you had me completely bamboozled LOL yes Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday are my fast days at this point. To answer how I have been going, surprisingly well, considering I havent been as well organised as usual. Down about 2.5 since I restarted, so another 2.5 to 3.5 to go. When I get closer to goal I'm going to try an easing into maintenance of 2x500 and 1x1000....then 1x500, then 2x1000, eventually I'll do 3x1000, this will be experimental so who knows if I'll fall down or not? Doesn't matter at this point, I seem to be ok with 500 cals at the moment, tho 3 months ago I restarted 3x500 and after 3 weeks stopped losing weight, after 5 weeks I gave up in disgust. This time seems better and not the struggle it was that time.
Ps Scrabble (Mattel) thru FB
Wow another fastiversary I see @judithn, congrats. I've not fasted on a weekend before. So hats off to you both. Best of luck to all the others who are fasting today, but not joined the thread,
Fast one of week 4 today, which I hope means that I am getting into the rhythm of it. Had milk in tea this morning and I normally try not to have that until 4pm... But still think today will be Okay. going blackberry picking at lunchtime so will be interesting NOT eating loads of blackberries in the process!!!!
And me, after the carby fest of yesterday!

@GMH that sounds like a plan. I too tend to fast at least one day weekend atm. It just seems to work out better. Still a bit to lose, but decided to 'coast' in rather than go at it hammer and tongs  seems better that way, and does chime with how I've approached this WoE in general. Last weigh in was early July: we'll see what early September brings! Your plans for maintaining sound interesting too, may try similar :like:

@eyup hope you aren't blown away with the wind up them there hills!

@CarieOates fasting at w/e quite good if you've no distractions - you can pace yourself.

@gillymary as long as you're fasting, doesn't matter what day it is - and doesn't matter if you eat normally - that is what @Ballerina does!
Yes Ballerina is on a suitable BMI whee as I am a heavy boned size 14. Though content I am thinking there would be fat around my organs. Like Michael Mosleys issue so onwards but like you I am coasting happily with daily weight the honest check and motivator
First chance to go on the forum today and it is now 8pm. I have managed my first fast today since arriving at my parents 5 days ago - it has been a carb feast since I got here... :( I thought I would not be able to fast until I returned home, but when I realised that I had things to keep me busy til mid afternoon, decided to try to make it a fast day. And so far so good. I have certainly needed it after all those carbs, and know I will feel so much better in the morning than I have on every other morning since arriving.

Hope all the other fasting Aussies have gone well, and best wishes to those of you still going thru your day. :D
Well done Aussies x good luck all other Super Sunday Fasters!
Congrats @judithn on yr fastiversary! Make sure you mozey over to the Fastiversary thread to record it tomorrow! X
