More than half way through the day. Off to the gym in a bit. Usual fluid fasting. Just baked a banana bread low carb and no sugar smells nice, cleaned cupboards washing on and off lines due to weather. Who says we don't have energy ... except I am doing everything but what I need to be doing eek ...some book work. Oh well after gym have to tack my toes to the ground

Happy day every else who is venturing upon a fast this Sunday
I'm fasting today and will eat something in about ten hours. Perhaps I'm crazy, but I actually enjoy the discipline of a fast and have learnt that hunger pangs are nothing to fear.

I'm about to take the dog for a walk and when I return I'm hoping to set up my newly purchased bicycle and go for the first bike ride since my teens. I have more energy rather than less since changing my way of eating and certainly don't suffer from the "unrelenting hunger" which critics describe.
Bracken just love your name. Seems across the world it's just you and me fasting. I will just have a hot chocolate as my nightcap and I have completed my fast. Sounds like fun fixing up and getting on yer bike. Have a great ride and all the best with the rest of your fasting day
I'm in today as usual. Been doing stupid hours work wise and eating has been erratic. Finally getting some sort of 'down time' so can see the fall fast becoming a 16:8. Although I would rather keep it as a fast, I'm very tired and have another long week with heavy work. Flexibility is the key though, so I'll work with it.
Good luck to fellow fasters.

Not quite true, as I am also having to join that club as result of what has been happening with my weight over the last few days (my latest bog entry which I have just written, will explain exactly why that is the case).
caved in. The arabic bread with pesto and brie was too much...
might have turned on the hunger switch, maybe not. I'll see how dinner time goes.
I think I am.Husband has upset stomach so the usual Sunday roast is off the menu, so I am contemplating doing today instead of tomorrow-it should be OK. I've walked the dogs and am about to have a mug of Bovril-it's dull and drizzley here.
Fasting too. First time I have gone the whole day without having food. The other half has cooked lamb spinach and potato curry (no rice) - well it's cooking, and only 262 calories. It's ridiculous, I get so excited about the fact I have calories left on a fast day, means I can finish with a treat, or have a round of bread with tea... yum!
I made it! Off to bed shortly-it is possible to fast without planning in advance after all!
ended up a fast day after all. The lunch time sandwich kept me going then a little graze on 4 nut and rose squares- about 1cm square each. SO reckon within the 500 calls. Success! :victory:
