fasting today, Sunday 23. 7.

I am fasting today and it is going alright, though my husband is eating normally - and we sit at the same table. Me drinking my black tea while he eats his bacon and eggs. But I want to tell you about a strange thing that happened with my weight. I think I had just rejoiced with you that it had gone to 67.2 kg. I fasted normally on Friday and weighed myself on Saturday morning. My weight had gone up to 68.5kg. Then I ate normally, even with dessert - rhubarb crumble with lots of custard. Then I weighed myself this morning: 67 kg. Lowest yet in this time round. You figure?
@Margotsylvia, I do admire your determination with the fasting!

Re the weight variation, results such as this show exactly why we shouldn't get too hung up about small gains - nor perhaps too jubilant about small losses - in the short term. The amount of water and body waste retained (and lost) can amount to several pounds. It is the longer term trend that has more meaning. As I know you know!

Anyway, best wishes for a continuing downward trend.
