Please please let there be more than me fasting today! :curse:
Last week of August and potentially last week of 4:3 for me. Will evaluate and plan next steps after the weigh in next weekend. Begining to find 4:3 a slight drag ....
Coffee and water until diner tonight. Not helped by starting off reading breakfast thread and the revelations about Nutella in Croatia
Must resist

I'm here but feeling a bit under the weather. I'll be very glad to get to dinner time in about 2 1/2 hrs.
Ah chook, hope you feel better
Don't despair lool I will be fasting today, I'm sure others will be joining us soon. Kudos for keeping to a 4:3 schedule for some time, I've yet to get used to the traditional regime ...sad I know haha

I seriously hope it goes smoothly today,my plans yesterday just went out the window with the family bringing in takeout. Oh well still got today.

Good luck and keep to it Janeg, there'll always be ups and downs but I'm sure with a bit of persistence we can get to goal!
Count me in, but I'm doing a sort of '' semi '' fast where I go my 24 hrs and then indulge in whatever I want!!as were out later for a bbq  so of course wine involved :like: Stick with it janeg its only for a few hours of your lifetime   unless you're already at dinner time like chook (hope your feeling better). I'm just having my first coffee then off for a 6 mile walk that will kill time for me. Good Luck :clover: Sue
Fasting in the uk today. Seriously annoyed with myself because I had a major KFC and chocolate pig out yesterday. Can't seem to get the feed days right at all. Why do I find fast days easier?
I'm in. Been on this since April & finding it really tough to shift those last few lbs. would love to get to maintenance but suspect I,ll be on. 2 days a week forever. :frown:
I too am fasting today, had a bit of a mad week (bereavement) so all willpower straight out of the window. Hope to manage some time today. nothing since 7pm last night but wee grandson has had me up since the crack of dawn so already feels like lunchtime! Good luck to everyone fasting today go easy on yourself,
BTW janeg....what's the Nutella revelation? Can't find the thread. Hope it is that you MUST eat it on fast days to aid weight loss :))))
4flipsake- nutella panckaes in Croatia on the strange things to break your fast / have breakfast with...
I am so hungry and bored - this is going to be a long tough fast. Lunchtime looming and colleagues have ordered Thai. It's too hot to go out
need to suck it up
or slap me with the wet fish :D
Been busy all mornings, and have only had a coffee and some water, I don't feel remotely hungry so am going to liquid fast until tomotrrow morning (36hour).

It is why I love this diet, I can just say nope dont feel hungry, am sure I will tomorrow, and hey presto an extra fast day in the week.
Hi everyone,

I'm joining you today. I need to be careful as I didn't do a fast while away for a few days last week. I ate quite a lot on those days!

Don't feel hungry so far but feel a little weary despite loads of sleep.

I have been drifting into maintenance but I think I need to be careful for a few weeks before trying again.
Vet272 I am the same! Fast days are much better for me, I feel like have more energy and feast days seem to have no blooming control. I have written a meal plan for myself for Monday and Tuesday and am going to try and stick to that, see if it helps me from straying onto the sweets and biscuits. Not calorie counted, but healthy with a small treat at the end of the day!

I'm fasting today, and its nearly bedtime here in Abu Dhabi so made it through another fast day :) one day at a time I suppose.

I overheard the following conversation yesterday whilst shopping in ikea which has spurred me on. A lady was complaining about her weight so her friend suggested she "diet". The First Lady just sighed and moaned and concluded that dieting is soooo hard. To which her wise friend replied, "yes, dieting is hard BUT being overweight is even harder". Quite true, lets keep on going!

I was in today- and it's been a long day! Spent the day sorting out the garden, but pleased its nearly over. I'm pleased its a Bank Holiday tomorrow and I can enjoy an ice cream in the park!
Snap!
Painted the shed, did weeding, put bark mulch around, watered the pots, did a bit of dead-heading. Managed to have a pretty successful fast day, considering it's Sunday and OH suggested wine. Poor chap didn't push the point.
