Thought i would do my first ever Sunday Fast instead of my usual Monday,as tomorrow is a Bank Holiday
Tho have just read about @gillymarys lamb shank yesterday and now i feel very hungry!
Ok i might have to do it alone but i CAN do it.. :like: x X x
Happy day everyone,c' mon be a devil and join me x
Hi Candicemarie, I'm in too. Glad you're there I was feeling a bit Billy-no-mates as well ! Not done a Sunday before, but yesterday was a soaking wet day so I sat indoors and did not alot and ate more than I should have ! The red wine was comforting though... I wish you hadn't mentioned the lamb shank ! Now rumbling is going on.
Hi @CandiceMarie I am in today too. Sunday is actually my regular fast day and not popular but usually more than two of us by now. It's going to be a beautiful day here, sunny and 26C, so going to occupy myself outdoors. Lots of tea and club soda with lemon coming up. Have a great day :clover: :like:
Hiiiii mrstee and judith! Sooo happy to see you both!
Funny you mention rumbling mrstee... I have never ever had fast rumbles til today ..this morning my tum is rumbling like billyo!
At least you're not along bunty no mates, or Candy @Candicemarie. Very impressed that you're fasting today. I'm going to try again tomorrow and Wednesday...and then I'm off on me hols.

Hope your fasting goes really well today. An easy peasy one I hope.

Oh heck, nearly fallen off today ! Made sandwiches for kids with my defrosted home made bread and before I knew it I had eaten the loaf crust ! It smells so nice. I usually last til supper, and don't eat bread on fast days. Now I'll have to shrink supper. However, the bread was really yummy ! Oops
Oh i have so much respect mrs tee for you folk who have to prepare food for others but still fast! X but all is not lost, like you say,you can just shrink supper a bit.well worth the cals i'd say
I cdnt rein myself in if faced with a home made fresh from the freezer crust ! It wd jump into my mouth when i opened it to say noooooooo
Ooh yes MrsTee I just don't know how you can cook for other folk and STILL fast. Hats off to you!

Hello Ladies!

I'm in for my 3rd of the week. Wasn't necessarily going to fast today.....but I hopped on the scales and they were unusually spiffingly kind to me....but my official weigh in day is Mondays....so I am determined not to blow it today. Does that make me sad...or mad.....or just disciplined? Whatever it is...I am enjoying it! Not used to exercising much control over myself...so to finally have some...is awesome!!!!

Just about to have some soup. Good luck everyone xx

Well, we're all having Chicken salad or fajitas for supper .... Guess what I'm having ? I only make the bread on a non-fast day, otherwise I'd never manage not to eat it. Too many negatives in that last sentence. We have a glut of lettuce luckily. Mmmmm ! Usually I have a fairly big bit of fish and salad or veggies on a fast day and that's very satisfying. Right, I'm off for a very windy speed walk round the garden, hopefully the wind won't blow me across to Somerset !
Sorry about the shanks @CandiceMarie and I didn't manage so well on my sat fast as in the prep I tasted dinner which was lush and I swapped to a window day. DS cooked a big breakfast so off to the gym with me and I will be definitely considering a fast again tomorrow.

Just want to fit in a good fast and Monday is a good day usually with lots of company. All the best with your fasting everyone
I'm here today for an unplanned third fast after, what can only be described as a complete blow-out yesterday! I'm doing liquids only today so that I can give my digestive system a much needed rest! I'm not at all hungry so I guess I'm listening to my body today.... I often ignore it so this is positive. Hope everybody is having a good fast :-)
So far so good on my fast today. We've been at Bedford Kite Festival with thousands of other people, most of whom seem to be stuffing their (already large) faces. Water, black decaff coffee and lemon and ginger tea and Pukka cleanse tea all onboard. Been wee-ing for Britain consequently! Chicken soup due at 7pm than back on the water until sleepybyes.
I'll have to do it all again on Tuesday and Thursday to make a dent in this extra half stone that's wiggled it's way back on me :0/
Well done you Sunday Sizzlers! Keep the fasting flag flying! :like:
Coming to the end of our fasting sunday..for most of us anyway..i guess Judith over in Canada has a little way to go yet
Had scrambled eggs and feel sooo full
Well under 500 today, possibly for the first time! Certainly hasnt happened more than two, three times. Wish i found every fast day as easy peasy as today! X
