Fasting today Sunday 28th July
28 Jul 2013, 02:52
Yes that's right - it's Sunday my preferred fast day, hmm but hungry today. Still it's nearly 1pm so not long till dinner really. Bought a stack of vegies and will get about creating something, probably a curry. Need to clean...tho I must say I love a line I heard last night on Midsomer Murders (husband in reference to messy horders house):'The cleaner's on holiday & the wife's not au fait with the vacuum' hahahaha I do love that. Prefer to get a cleaner and read a book. Ah well!
Easy fasting all.
I'm in... Not my usual day but I've been mixing it up this week as I keep putting my fast days off

Where is everyone?! :?:
I'm in today, start of a new week here.

Just having a Waitrose 55 cal cup a soup for my lunch and then looking forward to my dinner later
Good Morning to fellow fasters in the more awake parts of the world.

Its 8:47 am in Sunny HOT Orlando, FL, USA and today is my fast #6. I actually look forward to them, and the knowing that its just ONE day, and tomorrow I can eat what I like.

Each new fast is like a personal challenge to get thru the day. And even tho, by about 9pm, I am watching the clock, it really has not been too bad. My hope is that this truly becomes a Way Of Life, FOR life.

You folks in UK and other places talk of making a curry. Could someone post an easy recipe for that, and tell me what kind of curry you actually use?

Thanks

Good Fast to ALL!

Diane
Sure is lonely in here today. I guess Sunday is not a very popular fast day.

It's 5pm in my world, just 6 more hours to get thru. Ive had a sugar free jello, and a nice green salad with tuna. I'll have my apple with pb2 dip a bit later, then it's bed time, and I don't have to think again till thursday
Monday and Thursday are popular fast days Dianehelen, check out the fasting threads on those days, i choose those days as it is a nice way to break up the week. Sat and Sundays do seem to be the days when most people don't fast. Then you work it to what suits you and your life style but must say is nice to have a lot of company on a 5:2 day
Thanks gillmarie,

I figured that but Sunday works for me as my husband works I Sunday's, so it's an easy day for me to not have to think about dinner etc. But ironically, when I started 5:2 was when he began his pre planned medical leave for some hand surgery, so he is home now for a few weeks. But he is very supportive and is fine fending for himself on my fast days.

I'll have more company on Thursdays ;-). But I guess for you it is already Monday down under

Thanks for stopping in and keeping me company for a bit. Congrats on your progress.

Diane
