Morning everyone!
Who's in today then?
First of three for me. Decided to stick to 4:3 for a wee bit longer and , as Sue regularly suggests, do it as if it were the first fasts. The fasts aren't any bother, so I'l just watch for the in between days :D
Who's joining me today?
Me please. It's been more than a week for me :curse:
Have a good one Karen!
Hi All
Count me in for a Fast today, Back to work tomorrow so a busy day today taking down and packing the Christmas decorations away, clearing the fridge and cupboards of all the Christmas goodies.

Good Luck all for your fast today and the rest of the week

I am in today! Having a good one. First of 2 consecutive days.
Good luck everyone.
Me too - I'm just kicking back into this following almost a year away from here.

I got complacent and have now tipped over into Type 2, so need to consider all options

 Yes I'm in but only for a half/semi fast today then hopefully a true fast tomorrow hoping to kickstart my weightloss and shedding the xmas kilo.
hi all those Sunday fasters out there - yes I'm going to bed shortly, having been fasting all day, going pretty well after my dinner of salmon & veges.

oh. SuzieW, I do sympathize! I have had type 2 diabetes for more than 13 years, although I barely fit the diagnostic criteria any more, thanks to some good luck & good management, - fasting 5/2 and a bit of 4/3 has really helped too, after the first month or so, when it was a bit of a shock to the system and my sugars actually went UP. But that's all behind me now, as they say, onwards and downwards! I know being diagnosed is a really big thing, although I used to say to myself, "well you're really lucky to have a health problem that you can do a lot about" and it's true, you really can. My suggestion is to get informed about diabetes, and get fasting! For me also, exercise is absolutely the key to good control. So I hope it all goes well for you, do feel free to PM if you'd like some specific info or support from someone who's been around the diabetes traps for a while. Good night everyone!
Hi all

I'm in. Measured my waist this morning and it had increased so need to be a little more careful. I feel a bit hungry so I need to get a few hot drinks inside me to take my mind off the slight hunger.
Have a good fast.
Hubby (the lurker!) and I are in today....happy fasting everyone.
I am in too for my usual Sunday fast. Last week was a bit of a challenge, worse than Christmas week, as far as fitting in fasts (and sticking to them!). I feel back on track and in control. Have another challenge this month, a Caribbean cruise. (I know, poor me  ). I am just going to try to keep going until then and do damage control when I get back.

This WOL is so amazing to me. It works and it's not that difficult. And this forum is such a great place to come if it starts to seem difficult. You guys ( and my Up band) are absolutely necessary for me to keep plodding along. :like:  :like:
Oooops, just sneaking in under the wire, 23h59 as I start typing.

Sneaky unplanned fast today, inspired by festive excesses, thought I'd done well but the scales gave me one of those nasty surprises this morning ......... I'LL SHOW THEM !!!!!
