Hope I hav date correct and there are no other posts started for today

Am liquid fasting again today and it's after 2pm, so going ok, off to the gym soon. Having a lazy day reading a good book
I am too gillymary. I skip breakfast on a fast day and for some reason it was difficult today so I took myself off for a loooong bath around 11 am so I couldn't mooch around the kitchen! That worked well and I didn't have lunch til 1.30. Water and green tea til dinner in three hours and then I should be right

Are you getting any rain in the shoalhaven? We had a bit this morning which was very welcome. The garden drank up every drop! Looking forward to lots tomorrow!
Its 5pm and I have eaten all but 13 of my calories, undecided whether to keep it as a fast day as I didnt intentionally set out for it to be a fast day, i just havent eaten all day.
I might have a small can of tuna or a boiled egg for dinner, making my total calories for the day 550 but since breakfast was a bacon sandwich I really dont think I have done too badly. :)
I'm fasting today. Looks like an elite group today
Ooh, elite group, I like it. I'm in (er, pre-planned. Not just because I'm a snob!)
I wasn't going to say anything til 'after' but now I want be part of an elite group so much that I'm prepared to risk jinxing my liquid fast today

Actually, I feel up for it today, and knowing that it's the last chance this week for me to claim back an unsuccessful fast earlier in the week, sabotage isn't an option!!

Let's do this shiz :like:
I'm fasting as well today. I have such a busy week at work next week with a lot of travelling (and going to see Wicked in London - that's definitely not for work though) that I'm having to do my fast days early - today and Tuesday. I love that this way of life is so flexible!
Didn't intend to fast today but my body is telling me I NEED to! we were at some friends' house last night for a meal, very carb heavy and lots of wine flowing till 2 am so a bit of a lie in this morning and still feeling stuffed so might as well repair the damage straightaway. Will hold out on drinks only till this evening when I've got a nice steak and veg waiting for me. I'm actually looking forward to a nice 'clean eating' day.
Hi denwoman, do you notice our stats are close in starting date, weight lost -(my tracker is wrong), I am 12.70kgs lost to your 13+kg and our BMIs also close. Anyway yes rain came down late arvo, ground is soooooooo dry it was sucked up.

What a lovely group to share a fasting day with, all the best... Mine had to be altered as I could not resist taste testing OH's lamb tomato and onion fritters so must be 500 at least, oh well close, was really good until 7pm. Have to sort dinner for DH nod the day before from now on

Night :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy: zzzzzzzzzz

They sure are amazingly similar stats gillymary  :like:

The fritters sound too good to pass up.
Well I'm done for the day. Still had Sunday lunch with OH. Big juicy steak and a huge pile of broccoli. Small bulletproof coffee before my workout this morning. Even counted the raw carrot I ate. 557 calories in total. that's it until tomorrow.
I've just done tesco... Without straying... And without leaving snacking!! If I was gonna sabotage myself, it would've been shopping! Pheeeew!
I survived a quick round of a Marks & Sparks food shop. Most unfairly, they had piped 'freshly baked croissant' smells wafting through the shop, making me drool. I took this very personally - they MUST have known I'm fasting! :pissedoff:

Be that as it may, I bought a ginormous cauliflower and am about to decimate it into rice with my little whizzing machine - it'll only take about 6 goes, I reckon. Keep me busy though - I'm trying to hold off eating till about 6pm. Bought myself a naughty ready-made curry (chicken & spinach. Slurp!) to go with the cauli rice - only adds up to a bit more than 500 cals. Can't wait! :eat:

I read somewhere once that shops purposely put their bakery section where the waft can waft everywhere and tempt those wafting the wafts into buying the source of the waft!!
Naughty innit..
I'm fasting today too. It's my birthday next week so I'm out a lot, so decided to squeeze in a Sunday fast.

I am keeping it low carb too: a packet of smoked salmon and cream cheese canapes at 3.3pm, and bacon and eggs for dinner. Yum.
