Good morning all you fasters out there today (or good evening those on the other side of the globe!)

It's Thursday, the sun is up, the birds are singing, and I've enjoyed a bit of a lie-in since I don't need the time to eat breakfast or make lunch before I head into work...yay!

Remember all those benefits of fasting today, and why you've chosen to do it...and may the fast be with you!
Hi @Peonyblue sun is up here too and shining brightly. I'm hoping for a good fast but have caught a virusy thing from my son. He has only just got back to work after a week with it. Well I'll see how I go, I'm not feeling too bad so far but I'm still lying in bed
Have a successful fast everyone.
Hi @PeonyBlue and @Wineoclock, I'm in too. Hope you continue feeling not too bad Wineoclock.

Lovely sunny day here too.
Yes beautiful after all the rain. Hope u recover quickly Wineoclock. I'm doing my first day of 1000 cals, so not fasting as such. Working my way towards maintenance. Quite tricky for me to think mid range between fasting and feasting. Day has started fine with 200 cal breakfast. Feeling full.good luck everyone!
Hello PB! Thanks for starting us off, just finishing work after a mega day and off to sleep. Wineoclock - hope you feel better soon and don't go down with a nasty episode.

So, yes I'm in, have a good fast day you peeps who are still 'up'. Catch up with everyone else rising ahead, tomorrow. :like:

Lizbean :clover:
Get well soon Wineoclock. I'm up, at work, been to yoga and had a black coffee at a café as our small plunger which I normally bring to work on Thursday, got broken at the party. Bit stressed now as there has been a change in my timetable and I have my first class at 9am instead of 10.15. Normally I spend an hour and a half fixing up what I'm going to do with the Prep/1s, but this morning I have to make it up super fast. It's lamb backstrap for dinner with broccolini. - there's a recipe in the September Delicious. Have a good fast everyone. Oh, weather report, sunny intermittently with big squally rain and wind, with the bite of snow in the mountains, coming over in between the sunny moments. Typical Spring in Tasmania.
I'm in for my second fast of the week. Would have done it yesterday but my cat sitter/friend came over yesterday to reacquaint himself with my kitty's routine and it would have seemed inhospitable to give him lunch and drool while I watched him eat it!
Hello all you folks living in Tomorrow!

I'll be in when tomorrow becomes today, after I have a nice long sleep.
Hello all - I'm in once Thursday gets here, have some real non-fast overeating to make up for - and then some. Too much going on, 14 hour work days, husband travelling out of town and no children at home any more, both off to school with the attendant worries and costs. I need to stop using food to deal with emotion. I thought I had it under control, apparently not. SO, looking forward to a second good fast of the week and getting my head back in the game. Hope you all have/had a wonderful Thursday wherever you are.
What a lovely post to start our day @peonyblue! Great idea to remind us why we are all doing this.....

I'm in for my second fast of the week. Busy day ahead, so not anticipating any problems, though fingers are crossed.

Hope you feel better soon @wineoclock - drink loads if you can to flush the bug away.

Totally sympathise with you @mlcdz - know all about struggling with emotional eating & haven't cracked it yet....but every day that we don't go mad is a triumph & hopefully, the balance will shift one day and we'll find we don't do it as often as we used to. Well, that's what I'm hoping, anyway.....

Best of luck to all the Terrific Thursday-ers!

I'm in too for second fast. Monday worked out okish see how today goes. Am also busyish today waling with my friend later. Egg and ham salad for dinner.
I love to live in tomorrow. And greetings to those of you still living in yesterday. I am nearly up to tea time. I was very clear with myself when I got home from work at 3.30 that the kitchen was strictly out of bounds. I was allowed in after 5pm to make a cup of tea and to prepare some of dinner. All items are now ready on the bench but I don't need to start to cook until 10 to 6. So back into the lounge room with me. 10 minutes to go. I am being very good today.
Me too Sally, I am avoiding kitchen till 6.30. Just have to heat up something I made on Tuesday - a baked chicken, cauliflower, pumpkin, spinachy warm salad thing. I might dry fry some mushrooms to go with it as they're so low in cals. My head is spinning from work and next weeks going to be worse but then it will be school holidays - 9 more sleeps.yay!
Hope you feel better @Wineoclock, SallyO put me onto easeacold tablets and my normal cold that lasts 7 days only lasted 2!
Yes I'm in today last one of my 4:3 this week, some housework this morning before a dental appointment  then walk back the long way home, before my first coffee of the day. :clover:
Well the day isn't done yet, but I found it quite hard to do the whole 1000 cals whilst in 'fast mind' at 800 at the moment and feel seriously full. No dinner planned, had bfst, lunch and protein bars. I really do like this new lunch not dinner thingy. Also surprised how easy it was after a real fast day yesterday. Just goes to show we are often scared of doing something, then when we try it, it's easy. Now I see how you do it @Sue.Q Good luck tomorrowers :-)
