Here I am again - maintenance fasting. Last week I complained about the cold temperature on a fast day. Well, guess what! We have terrible weather today!!! Not so cold. but storm winds and snowing horizontally. :curse: But at least I can get into here and complain about it  . For the last couple of days I could not get into the forum. My 'sign in' did not sign in! At least that problem has resolved. This forum keeps me going on miserable fast days. Thank you!
I'm fasting today too, and the weather in SE England is miserable and cold, but nothing like what you have @Margotsylvia
Vegetable soup for lunch then vegetable curry with quorn and slim noodles for dinner.
I was aiming for a light day too, but I've already given in to a severely growling stomach (so bad the dog growled back at it! LOL) by eating about 200 calories of protein. I'm hoping the protein will hold me for a while. It's only 10am! I had planned on a splurge of French Onion soup tonight, gratineed, but I may just have it without any cheese or bread, meagre as those two were going to be anyway. Good thing I know the soup part is just onions, broth, a very small splash of wine and smaller splash of veg oil, so not terribly high in calories without the toppings.

Well stay warm @Margotsylvia I know what those snow storms are like. I hope you don't have to drive today :-)

It's rainy here today, and chilly, but that is still much more temperate than we usually have. A typical January day is supposed to be around -6C/20F and have snow flurries. Right now it's 11C/52F.
Fast day nearly done, I'm going to have a low cal hot choc before bed, as the snow falls outside.
I'm in today, just had my cuppa broth. Lately I've been enjoying Amy's split pea soup with the cold and often rainy weather. Good to see a few more people are showing up since my Time to say goodbye? post.
