I've had another successful fast day too. Yay! I had a cuppa soup at 11.30 too @Debs! Great minds think alike
Cream of chicken 83 calories . then a naked burrito for dinner - chilli con carne topped with diced tomato and lettuce. It was yum!
Good luck to those waking up as I go to sleep :sleepy:

I'm in today as well, but have already blown 450 of my 500 cal budget, and I'll either have to go to bed (bit drastic as it's only 3pm) or, more likely, bust the limit by 150 or so. Failed to skip brekky, as I usually would, having had half of a courgette, black bean and mint burger (only 50 cals approx), which woke up my digestive system early, meaning that I was ravenous at 2pm. Have just had 2 egg omelette with 180g of asparagus and 1 tomato, on one slice of M&S seedy bread (159 a slice!). Feeling satisfied now but will probably need something in 4 hours or so. Good luck to everyone else: I hope your fast is going better than mine.

Yeah I was thinking of doing that! I shall see how I go :)
Hope its been a good day for all thunderous thursday fasters, whether youve finished now ( congrats!) or still got a way to go..( you can do it!)

T'is done @Hazelnut20
I made it!! Back to basic fast #2 done, check :like:

I've had water, 3 coffees with ss milk. For dinner at 8pm I had a small pork chop with cauliflower and a bit of cheese sauce, and slice of melon. 336 cals.
The back to basic monday did me the world of good. :like:
Well done you back to basics @Hazelnut20@justdee and everyone else.

I've been working madly all week to finish work by end of today as I'm now on leave till 1st Sept. I failed to finalise some important work, so I'll be completing over the next few days. So did I fast? I guess I did - but not as mindfully as I wish. It's the first time I have felt unmindful when fasting and that is a new experience for me. What I like about fast days is how mindful I am, how fasting takes priority. If I get that right the rest of the week just falls in line. There we are, I have let it go - no damage done.

I'll be back on Monday fast thread having celebrated DD birthday at Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Covent Garden. Hope he cooks up well   off to look at his menu and then to bed

Good luck to our friends around the world who are still fasting. :clover:
Right there with you @justdee - it feels good to be back in the groove!

My two fasts this week have gone really well...and have reminded me just how good I feel when doing so! I'd even go so far as to say that a little of my mojo has come back - hurrah. It's been helped by having a few compliments tonight at W.I. - from people who haven't seen me lately! Nothing like a timely reminder of the progress thus far for sharpening the resolve.........

Well done all xx
