If it wasn't for the Lenten challenge I don't think I'd do a second fast this week. I'm utterly unprepared for dinner tonight so we'll see how it works out. Good luck everyone. Wendy
In a few more hours I'll be in today too!

Fixed crepes and bacon for the family dinner; currently sipping a bullet coffee after having had a smothered bean burrito for lunch.
I'm here today too. Second fast of the week and always a bit harder than Monday. Tea, water, and maybe an apple this afternoon as I have an appointment after work so won't get dinner until after 8 which is a bit of a stretch on a fasting day. I made a big batch of Ella Woodward's chickpea, potato and tumeric curry last night so I will have a big bowl of that when I get home. http://deliciouslyella.com/book-two-rec ... ric-curry/
I add a whole cauliflower and a cup of frozen peas and cut down the spinach a bit but it is very tasty and filling and a great fast day dinner.
Happy fasting everyone whenever you get here.
Morning Folks - I am in with you too. I will try to keep busy today ( and keep my mind away from food!)
I tend to have a small porridge ( made with oats and water) late morning, then have cups of tea and maybe an apple to deep me going until the evening meal which tonight is a Rosemary Conley recipe of fish pie.
Good luck everyone, hope it goes well!
Morning all, I have to do some shopping at Ikea this evening so I'll keep going as best I can today with coffee and maybe a bit of fruit this afternoon. Then I'm thinking one of those smoked salmon platters with a side salad is probably the way to go. The kids will be under strict instructions not to offer me any of their chips or meatballs!
Slightly weird - yesterday I kept forgetting I wasn't fasting; today I keep forgetting I am!
I intended to fast today as well... yeah... didn't work out for me.
Went to the dentist yesterday, the filling of one of my last 2 remaining wisdom teeth was gone. Well, not much left, both have to come out now. Not looking forward to it.
Then I had to cook and bake today and there went my fast day.
I don't know whether I can manage to have another go this week. My mind is still circling.
Hope everything goes well with you guys...

I'm in today. I'm pretty sure I gained a bit on my long weekend at my mom's house. I didn't have the strength to step on the scale yet to find out. This will be my second fast after returning.

Good luck, Thursday fasters :clover: :clover:
I'm in today, just after 10am here so just getting started. Will make my pot o' green tea (St Patty's Day! No green beer for me...not that I'd do that to good beer!) in a bit. Went to my fave Indian place for lunch buffet yesterday, had my fave saag paneer etc...so am ready to fast today! (Oh, and also stopped by a very dangerous bakery downtown--Dahlia--and brought home a piece of their famous coconut cream pie to share with my son...it was yummy!)
