Fasting Today Thursday 2 April
02 Apr 2015, 03:30
I was surprised when I didn't see a 'Fasting Today' thread already going. Where are all the East Coast Aussies?

With Easter just about here I definitely need to be completely focused today :geek: I'm also planing on going ahead with my next scheduled fast despite it being Easter Monday. Will anyone be joining me?

Good luck all and Happy Thursday :victory:
Go forth and fast Cyclonet! X
I' m sure some friendly fasters will be along soon! X
Hi Cyclonet - I'm fasting today....... looks like Easter has come early for some
I'm in today too , not my usual day but I am jiggling fast days around to accommodate visiting family over the long weekend.
However this means I am going to have to fast on Easter Sunday ... just wondering if I can get away with 500 cals of everything I gave up for Lent
Hi. I'm not fasting as I'm with family in Victoria for Easter. @Debs I'm in Shepparton for the next two days then we are going to Upotipotpon.
Happy Easter fellow fosters.
Checking in from the East coast of the US. I'm joining you in a fast today, although my heart is not in it. I'm feeling hungry already and it's only 8:20AM! I'll also be joining you on Monday for my normal 1st fast of the week.

Have a good day everyone!
:clover:
Just enjoyed my lunch: half an avocado, crayfish, lettuce and French dressing .... 215 cals. These days I prefer both a lunch and a dinner. Dinner will be something eggie as I'm practicing for Sunday  @Lori good luck! Are you holding out for dinner time? :clover:
Yes @Lizbean the plan is to wait until dinner time. I had my low cal protein shake after boot camp and that usually keeps me satisfied until afternoon. The hungries are just starting early today!
Hi @wineoclock"then we are going to Upotipotpon. "
That sounds wonderful, what a great place name! X
I'm in; my first light day back to work. Feeling tired (still getting used to schedule change); glad I did this while working for months before, so I have remembered pattern to follow: fiber when I get nibbly early, pot of green tea to keep my mouth busy...Early in my 5:2 journey (almost a year now!), I did eat something in the late afternoon, but that quickly morphed to later and later....but if I do get really hungry, I'll find something "legal" to nosh on and count those calories!

I'm working from home, so must ignore being surrounded by food, but I'm used to that. At least no one is waving it in my face! As I posted elsewhere, I plan on trying the FastBeach (have the book, need to read it) to get off my plateau. Although I've ranted about this being a WOL, I think if I take the attitude that the "extra" restrictions involved are a temporary measure--with 5:2 as the permanent feature--I'll be OK (not fall off the wagon). Since we're hitting spring, this is the best time of year to lose, after all. Plus, it'd be nice to have less belly for the summer!
where is everybody today??? all my Thursday fasting buddies...

Just had my afternoon cup of broth...loooonnnngggg day....
Hi @Ferretgal I'm not sure where everyone is today, on an egg vacation I guess? I'm off to bed soon .........keep going :clover: :clover: :like: :like: :victory: :victory:
Had a 150cal salad after work; main meal will be later tonight.
