HI, I'm NOT fasting today. I went will I/won't I for quite a while until the OH said did I want scrambled eggs for breakfast and I said yes. We are off to Launceston to see the heart specialist and had a lung function test - for the OH, not me. And there is that special cake shop on the corner near the hospital. Then we are driving to Hobart to see the grand daughter and try on a jacket I have finally finished knitting. Fingers crossed it fits. So I decided to give it a miss today and maybe I'll fast on Saturday. Have a good one fasters. I'll check up on you later on today.
I did yesterday instead of today. Enjoy your day off @Sallyo and your visit with your granddaughter.
Happy fasting to anyone on a fast today.
@Sallyo um, special cake too, how special was it Sallyo? Hope all went well at the Docs for OH.
Yes, I'm fasting today .... egg salad for dinner.
Happy fasting everyone, let's do it :clover:
@Sallyo hope your day went as well as it could do.

I'm in today, wasn't particularly planning on it but felt up for it this morning, so will see how I go. Good luck to all :clover:
@I'm in today. Too many Empire Biscuits recently, although I haven't weighed or measured for ages so not sure if it's making any difference. Better to be safe than sorry. Feeling rather hungry though :( .
Need more info on special cakes @Sallyo
Doing erratic shifts so hoping thijs one is successful.
Wishing fellow fasters a good one :clover:
I'm in for today. I spent the day in Cambridge yesterday, including punting on the River Cam - lovely! I ate far too much (including two delicious cakes) and then came home to a lasagne, which I had made the day before. After so much delicious food I wasn't surprised by the numbers that I saw on the scales this morning but it has strengthened my resolve to fast today!
:clover: Good luck to those of us fasting today. :clover: Let's make it a good one!
2.30pm and a double expresso is calling. Starting to feel good already ..............
I'm semi joining you. Did a 500 cal (ok 534) fast yesterday and have yet to break it as I'm trying to do 16:8 on the non-500 days. At least for August...
My fast day eating is done. I have no idea exactly how many calories I had, because I don't do counting, but my meal included three very good quality, Lincolnshire chipolata sausages, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, followed by a delicious fresh peach. That was three hours ago and I am still feeling well fed, so nothing else for me this evening.
I have distracted myself since dinner by making greengage jam and only licked one spoon, so that's a win for me! :victory:
I hope that everyone fasting today feels that their day has gone/is gong well. Onwards and downwards!
22.20 and thinking of bedtime. Ended up enjoying chicken salad - rocket, bean sprouts doused in a light soy sauce, toms, cucumber, spring onion at 7pm. Kitchen closed. Water and tea thereafter.
Magic day
