Fasting today Thursday 23 June
23 Jun 2016, 00:56
Well, we are over the hump of the winter solstice here, so onwards towards Spring.
I am fasting today - and hoping for a really good day. I had some sugary treats yesterday at a colleague's farewell afternoon tea, and felt horrible last night. I think our bodies start to realise what is good for us on this WOE, and wants less sugary things. I am inspired by the BSDers!
Good luck to any Thursday fasters. :clover:
Hi @MerryMelb, thanks for kicking this off today. Nice shiny winter's day here in Sydney today for my second fast of the week. I too am enjoying the BSDers thread and they are doing so well.
Noting but tea ( 2 x white, lots of herbal ) and water until this evening. Not sure what I will have for dinner which is an unusual position for me to be in, I generally like to have dinner planned to look forward to. I have not been particularly good on my non-fast days this week so will try and have something filling and veggie - maybe involving eggs.
Good luck to all the Thursday fasters wherever you may be!
Hi aussie fasting friends..you' ll be making great headway thruyr day while i sleep!
I'll be thursdayfastingand repairing too when morning comes! X
Good luck to all fellow fastees on this very important referendum vote day in the uk!
Ok, the forum ate my post TWICE. Sigh.

It's a lovely, mild summer day in New York. Yesterday was perfect - 79F/26C. I don't like it any warmer than that.

Monday's light day went really well, and Wednesday's splurge day was great without going over what was planned. I'm hoping to repeat that success again. I'm on my second espresso of the morning, then on to black tea. I'll have a low calorie/low carb wrap for lunch and a large salad for dinner. I may have a 50 calorie string cheese for a snack.

I hope our UK members all get out there and vote. A high turnout is always important.
Hi my fellow faster chickadees x hope you got thru/ getting thru todays fast!
I actually went into a cake shop and bought a box of cakes for DD & SIL without wanting to sample even a crumb from them!
Why cant i feel this strong on non fast days!
Yes Tracie I voted! It was a bit of a walk to the polling station which hopefully added to the benefits of a fast and repair day! X
2nd fast of the week completed. I've had a really active day today swimming, a walk (calling at the polling station) and then some gardening so I feel quite pleased with myself. Hopefully the scales/tape measure will reflect my effort???
I'm in today, having tea and just about time for veggie broth; hope all my fellow fasters are doing well--most of you should be in bed!
