Popping into wish you well Thursday fasters. I have a works picnic today so will fast tomorrow instead.

Feels strange - first Thursday I have missed since joining six months ago.
Good luck Amrac, hope it goes well for you, and don't forget, your stomach will thank you for it, even though it may not feel like it at the time!
I've kinda been with you all today - I forgot I was off to meetings today, fully catered. I skipped breakfast, managed to avoid the sweets at morning tea, but couldn't skip lunch...so I had a bit of Thai chicken curry and left the rice. Dinner's been a bowl of veggie soup, and I couldn't avoid the beautiful seedy bread our neighbour left for us. So perhaps I've managed around 600 cal or so today, which all in all I'm happy about all things considered.

Good luck all, and especially to Amrac1, and may the fast be with you all!
Hi GMH
I remember you from last time around. Your story sounds exactly like mine. I too lost weight last year then gave up,put it all on and tried a few times to get back into it.
So here I am ,week two and also doing Sundays ,Tuesdays and Thursdays .except can't do this Sunday cos of too ,any parties .
Good luck to you ,keep in touch
Sally, good for you going to yoga so early...must have been freezing. I went mid morning . Loved it.
Almost dinner time and I am starving so off to make grilled chicken and steamed veg .saved almost all my calories for that.
Thank goodness, finished my first fast in quite some time, two apples and a small amount of greek yoghurt, plus my tea of course!
On top of that, ab workout, some strength training and a quick bout of HIT! Phew!
Good luck to all of you starting out today in the northern hemisphere!
Well so far so good. I feel a bit lightheaded and headachy but not hungry. However late afternoons and evenongs are my worse time.
Hi everyone
I am in and thanks to the scorching heat not missing food much today! Lots and lots if fizzy water for me plus my old favourite Cajun salmon and green salad for tea!
Really hoping to shed the 2lbs I put on last week!! Weigh in tomorrow....
@debsIt's not about northern hemispheres. Fasters in Japan are in the same time zone as us, and people in South Africa, Southern hemisphere, are hours behind. You know that. You're 2 hours behind us because you are in Western Australia. Sorry to be pedantic.
In today after postponing yesterday. Started daily weighing about a week ago and it's kicked me into gear--now that I've seen 154lbs I was so disappointed to see 157 this morning! Black coffee for me today.
Hello to all!
I'm in today! Feeling a little off today - think I might be dehydrated. Outside all day yesterday in the hot sun and definitely didn't have enough to drink. So I'm filling up on fizzy water and staying cool today. The rest of the family is out tonight so I'm going to see how long I can go without eating.
Good luck everyone - regardless of hemisphere!
I'm in today - or at least I was.
I was doing fine till early afternoon when I picked up my DS from his pre Uni cooking course, he has brought home vast quantities of the things he made this morning and it would be rude not to try them. So my planned prawn salad will be replaced by his chilli with some salad and no rice.
Fasting today too. Loads of book work to do but I am escaping into the beautiful weather for a nice walk and then plan to play in my outside studio and make some clay bowls. Have a great day, everyone!
Felt a bit flakey this morning as I was on a water only fast yesterday. Had to have a banana late morning otherwise wouldn't have got much done at the allotment. I've worked out that I can have a banana, cottage cheese and salad and still have room for a glass of wine (or two) on the patio. The weather is lovely at the mo, so shame not to take advantage.
It's my three month Fastiversary! My first fast was April 24.

Hi, @Amrac1, welcome! Wishing you lots of luck, and keep coming here, it's great!

Fasting is SO much easier when you're busy! Just had my first food (almost 6pm), my usual yogurt and fruit. Will have my usual fake chicken and veggies; for my late snack, I found 80cal coconut milk fudge bars (frozen) at our local discount store...
I stand much corrected and humbled@Sallyo. The sentiment was there though, even if the message was dashed off quickly without thought for my geographical bearings. It won't happen again.
