Morning all - lets get this party started!

I'm in today for my second fast of the week. Nothing but tea and water today then a salad with falafel and humus tonight. I am undertaking a vegan challenge for lent and finding it quite interesting. It's going to be a hot one (up to 40 degrees) here in Sydney so I will make sure to drink plenty of water. When I am in the office I task myself with getting up and getting a fresh glass every hour which soon adds up to my 8+ glasses a day.
Happy fasting everybody.
Popping to say g'day, Pilchards. I fasted yesterday so it's all over for me. 40!!! I'm coming to Sydney in March. I wonder if it will still be hot then? Do you think so? Good strategy, drinking water every hour. Gives you an opportunity to walk about as well.
I'm in to. My day off today so weight session at the gym, followed by 3km walk on the beach with our dog and then a bike ride into the city/shops. If the scales aren't kind tomorrow... I just had some yoghurt with home-made granola (full of nuts, seeds, coconut chips and coconut oil) and will have a veggie stir fry tonight. Good luck everyone.
Hi everyone, I'm joining you today. Not much walking for me, back to back meetings till 3pm then I have a meeting out of town about relocating a local housing charities office. Soup for lunch and I think a salad for supper.

Hi all
I have been doing this since the 1st November 2015 and lost 2 1/2 stone. I have often wondered though that on a fasting day if I exercise should I eat 500 calories plus the amount of calories I have burnt off i.e if I bike for 20 mins should I then eat 670 calories that day? Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks Hepy
I'm in for my second fast this week.
I am regretting getting on the scales this morning....put on the 2kg I lost. I am happy to be feeling good despite that.
Woke up to frost and 0c this morning.
May the Fast we with you! x

Hello hepy, welcome to the group! A 1kg per week average is excellent progress. :like:

I believe that the general recommendation here is to NOT adjust a fastday calorie count for exercise. Consider it as a bonus reduction instead.
I'm in today, just had my first cals of the day (4pmish), broth. Will have food later...!
