I've found some things are helping me to curtail nibbling in the evening:
- Eating something protein/fat earlier (hardboiled egg is ideal) than before
Splitting my evening meal into two parts rather than one large meal
Remembering to make and have low cal fibrous veggies with dinner
NOT having certain foods, even though they are low cal I have trouble stopping (i.e., popcorn)
Saving my "reward/dessert" for a bedtime snack; usually this is yogurt with fruit and melted dark chocolate. I get to look forward to it and then go to bed.
