Fasting today Thursday 28 July

If you are out there and fasting today: you are not the only one, as I m in today after coming back from an international conference (so moved my usual Tuesday fast). Is fasting needed? Yes, conferences, and more particularly hotels with an extensive breakfast buffet, are killing for food control...
But these are the things we can afford, as we all know that we have some compensation strategy available
Well done @P-JK! Isn't fasting just wonderful for rest and repair - and so easy now!
I'm not strictly joining you but I am doing a mere 800 cals today - and have bean for the past 3-4 weeks now - I'm losing count and, more importantly, weight!!
Bean
Dont want youto be lonely PJK!
Me too...800 cals and 16:8 xx
Respect for all of you who follow this strategy, hope it will bring you continued good results (seems to be working well) and a well developed and doable transfer to an approach after this project.
I've been in today. Just back from a 9 day holiday staying in hotels but my weight today was down on before I went ( admittedly up a bit following my nephew's wedding weekend in Holland) This despite hotel breakfasts! Lots of walking and not much snacking probably helped. Now 5 weeks till my elder son gets married so back on the straight and narrow. I've had my dinner, lemon chicken with flagelot beans and lots of veggies, and currently up to 346 cals for the day so room for some strawberries and a decaf with skimmed milk before bed keeping to my usual 400 limit for a fast day.
I'm in today, not quite 1pm here so having my pot o' green tea right now, the usual later. I think I've convinced my son not to come over on light days, it's too hard to cook for him those days. I don't mind once in awhile, but not twice a week. It's odd, even though he admires my light day dinners, he has yet to volunteer to join me in what I'm having and render the question (of my cooking for him on light days) moot. It's so funny to have someone around who has little idea of calories in foods; he had no idea that peas and corn are caloric (for veggies), or that ff greek yogurt or eggs are surprisingly low for their food value. Considering that most of us have a calorie calculator in our head! Hey P-JK, that one can eat a "normal" (indulgent) meal on a normal day and not feel guilty about it (because you know a light day is coming) is one of the best things about this WOL. And having the flexibility to change light days as needed...
