Hello Fasters. Here I am. I tried to make excuses and think of reasons not to fast today but those excuses have melted away and I am firm now. What's for tea? I don't know. Report back later.
I'm in today for the second of a back to back. I felt that way on Tuesday, Sallyo and managed to talk myself out of it, which is why I'm doing back to back. I might be having cottage cheese for tea. Or maybe stir fried broccoli.
I arrived home in the early hours of the morning after a wonderful holiday, and am planning a partial fast today. I intend to have a huge salad with tuna for lunch and a large plate of veggies with salmon for dinner. My body is craving veggies after a month of very limited access.

Will report more on diet related issues in other threads.

Best wishes and good luck to all fasters today! :clover: :clover: :) :)
I am also fasting today. I am reporting early. BUT boy, was it hard getting in with my Android Tablet, Tuesday fast was difficult. I am hoping that today's fast will be easier. At least the weight was already down this am, although I had a major NOT low carb meal last night, Lasagne. 52, 6 kg. I tried to have a small portion, though.
So good luck to everyone. I guess I report back later on this afternoon :-D
Welcome back @sassy1 - I am not fasting today, maybe next Monday, after our July 4th Holiday weekend. Good luck Wednesday fasters - its usually my day - maybe next week!!!
happy fasting @sassy1! But isn't it ttttttoo ccccccold for salad? hope to catch up some more soon, how's the jetlag?? I find melatonin makes a big difference for me, but the stuff you get in Aus is really weak & expensive, compared to the US or the internet. Anyway, hope to see you for a coffee soon!
Thanks @lovemyparrot and @jools7. :)

Sure is cold, but never too cold for salad, jools! Though no doubt helped by eating indoors where it is centrally heated...

Am struggling to stay awake. Had a short nap after lunch, and made myself get up when I stirred after about 1/2 hour, but I just want to go back to sleep! Have just had a cup of coffee, but it has not helped... I still have to finish unpacking, and get socks etc out of the dryer. A lot of wet washing hanging inside too.

Ok, better get on with it!
Hello fellow fasters. Great to have you all with me today. It makes it so much easier to know I am not alone. I cooked pasties for lunch for OH and the builder and I felt very deprived, because I didn't have one. Luckily there are 3 left over for tomorrow, plus 2 for the neighbours who have a new baby. I will have one tomorrow! I love that. I have kept very busy and been out and about all afternoon and away from the kitchen. That helps a lot. Now I am nearly ready for dinner. I have picked a cabbage, some carrots and apples from the garden and have made a coleslaw to have with pork chops, baked in the oven with onions and apples. No pudding tonight. Maybe an orange. 22 inside; 6.5 outside at 20 to 6pm.
Very happy to join you @Sallyo. I have had the 2 meals as planned, should be okay to get through the rest of the day. Don't feel brilliant but I am sure that is more to do with the lack of sleep - tho it could be carb withdrawal!!!

I assume some others in later time zones will be fasting today??

PS At 8pm it is 3C outside and 20C inside.
Now I am at my afternoon computer session and can report back with ease. This Thursday fast is no problem at all. Cannot remember when I've had such an easy fast day. It is about as easy as Tuesday was difficult!!! If that makes any sense.
Thank you for your weather report, Sallyo,. We have a heat wave here now, I.e. the summer has finally arrived!!!
It is +25 degrees Celsius, blue sky and very sunny!!! We just finished putting an old sail on top of our little green house, so it don't get too hot.
Been thinking that with my Pre-Christmas and Lenten Fasts I tend to do most of my fasts in the cold months. It is really nice to fast now it is not so freezing. This morning I went for a walk in the woods with a coat on.... weird. But I was feeling cold then. Now I am in shorts and sleeveless, and not cold  . I wonder whether I'll lose any weight with this easy fast. Tomorrow will tell. 5 hours until food..... see you'all tomorrow :like:
I love the thought of walking in the woods, @Margotsylvia. My fast was easy today too.
I'm in today as usual. Just 1:30pm here in the West U.S. Made some hardboiled eggs for my salad later. Heh, it's actually HOT here--Seattle, go figure! We haven't had a good rain (one quickie) in WEEKS; it's feeling like LA around here. Been 80F+ and even 90's some days...and remember, practically no one here has home air conditioning, so it's been tough sleeping. Pounding down the fluids, though sticking to the no cal ones on light days, of course. Hmm, maybe I'll get a seltzer out of the fridge in a bit. Didn't have my usual pot of green tea; hot just didn't sound good. Going to focus on the salad tonight; may have a couple of raw apricots later today, they are yummy and so low cal!
Hello everyone. I hope you had / have a good day. It's 22.18 in the UK and I'm about to enjoy my first food of the day, raw marinated courgette spag, two eggs, toms and a sprinkle of crumbled feta, herbs.
Been a mega busy bean this week
