The scales are up a bit (above my maximum 68.5kg) so I'll do a second fast this week. I think it's hormonal but I won't give myself a reason to cop out. Anyone joining me?
I'll be joining once Thursday hits the USA
Wow, nobody else is joining us today? Well it's 7:14 am and I'm finishing my espresso that has about a tablespoon of milk in it. I'll be switching over to black tea soon. I'm hoping to make it all the way to dinner without cheating.

But I have done *really* well on cutting my carb intake this week.
How come it's gotten so quiet around here :?: i'm done for the day, feeling really good about being 5 weeks back in - 10 successful fasts  I've had a really hectic day so haven't kept my water intake up, so physically it's been difficult today, but mentally I've been alright - probably cos of the distraction of a busy day. Had my usual Thurs night slim rice and prawns with a pasta sauce.. I enjoy that meal cos it's a bit risottoey!! And I'm full with under 500 cals. My weight loss this week has suddenly spurted down 5lbs.. Ace!! I don't record it until Friday morning though, as the lower weight after a fast motivates me not to go mad on non-fasting days!

Hope everyone else fairing well (assuming there are more than 3 of us in this today - must be!)
Yup, I'm in today, just after 11am here, so I've got a LONG ways to go. Just had my coffee and will make my pot o' green tea in a minute...
Hello everyone
I'm here, yes I'm very late in registering, just through the door from work. I ate at lunchtime - south Indian tomato spice soup and mango with lime - 250cals. As it's late and I have no appetite I'll leave it at that, no use me waking up the hungry monster!
@chichi13 congrats on your 10th fast! That's about the time I thought this is for sure my way. Coming up two years on, I'm still here. This journey forms part of my life long yellow brick road. :victory:
Great job @ChiChi13

December is rough -- too many holiday parties and people are busy.

I wasn't perfect today. I overate a little, but I made it to dinner without eating, so that's good. I roasted a huge tray of brussels sprouts and had a LOT. My son wanted carbonara because my husband is away, so I gave in and made it. I only had a small dish, but I'm sure between that and the veggies. I'm over. Oh well, at least I got maybe a 20 hour fast in.

Side Note: I have cut way way way way back on Sugar since Monday morning and I"m doing really well with it. Shockingly!
On my 2nd session of fasting, today was alot better than my first fast in terms of overall mood and pains. Hopefully my body will adjust better as I get more sessions in. Unfortunately, I feel non-functional on my fast days, like I just want to sit around and do nothing. Just had my last meal, and I am definitely below my calorie restriction for today. So far so good! Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening. :)

There's definitely an adjustment. But it starts getting easier. Not easy, mind you, but easier. And as you do more on a fast day, you realize you really can function normally on a fast day. My husband does regular workouts on fast days and feels it helps suppress his appetite for several hours. So he works out at lunch time instead of eating. I personally am not up for more than a 1 mile walk. But I find staying busy helps keep my mind off of food.
