Fasting today Thursday 30 June

Hello all! A chilly and very windy Thursday here in Melbourne. I am half way through my fast day - with some miso soup for lunch.
I managed to avoid the temptation of the Tim Tam biscuits at a staff training session this morning, and stayed strong!
Good luck to anyone else onboard today.

Never heard of Tim Tams! What are they similar to over here?
Well my friends, I'm in too! Got a lovely piece of rainbow trout lined up for this evening's meal, complete with loads of veggies and I may just follow all this with a delish chocolate mousssssse - mmmmmmmm can't wait!!

Hi all, I'm in as well for a light day.

I got to try Tim Tams this year. Target had a selection of cookies from the UK and AUS. I thought they were a little too sweet for me. They're chocolate covered, two cookies with chocolate cream in the middle. The cookies weren't as hard and dark as oreos. They were sweeter and lighter, but still chocolate

Ok, I need to get my mind off them! LOL I'm going to have a bit of fresh pineapple and some cherries when I am too hungry to keep going, but I expect that won't be for a few hours. I'm sipping coffee right now.
Was doing several days a week fasting 23: 1, but my metabolism caught, so yesterday did normal feeding and today I do fasting, only water, tea and coffee.
I'm going back to do 5: 2 correctly to see if I lose weight, make that four weeks is stopped.

I'm in today. Slept poorly, and gave myself the option of switching my light day to tomorrow. But once I got up and got my coffee, feeling better so I decided to go for it today. Not yet 1pm here, so having my pot o' green tea...usual later.

heh, something I've found recently is if I blanch a few ounces of broccoli and eat it with lemon BEFORE dinner, it fills me up enough I have more patience with cooking a decent light day dinner.
