I've just planned out my day on My Fitness Pal. Very tight. I can have cottage cheese and white peaches for breakfast, then hot & sour soup with broccoli, prawns and rice noodles for dinner. I'm a bit worried it won't be enough. But there you are, it is a fasting day and I have to knuckle down to this new regime. No break outs. Welcome any other fasters.
Good morning everybody

I am with you today @Sallyo - my goodness its a very chilly windy day here in Melbs.

My focus is good and I am committed - I had a successful fast day on Monday, and plan for the same again today. I have been to the gym and the pool this morning, and just had some water and black coffee.

Heading out to the shops to do some food shopping - that will be a challenge.

I also find knitting whilst watching TV very good to keep my thoughts away from the food.

Have a wonderful day and for those here down South, keep warm!

cheers
Maggie
Good morning, from sunny London. I'm in. Tomorrow is the end of the month weigh in and my last day at work ahead of 2 weeks leave, yippee! Tuna with salad and greek yoghurt is on the menu for dinner. Spending today interviewing.
Good luck Thursday fasters. :clover: :victory:
@Bluebirdie, I am expecting to see you posting here. Are you fasting as you promised? My day is going well. I am so happy that I have decided to tighten up my fasts. It is like I am starting again, fresh. I went out this afternoon and kept busy. Now it is nearly time to get my dinner. I think having a light breakfast suits me. I haven't felt all that hungry today, although I had the usual problem with yummy smells. Tomorrow, tomorrow. And another shift that has occurred is the 'this is for life' realisation. I know I've said that before but I am reaching a new level of acceptance, after a bit of a battle with the idea. Really, you mean, twice a week for ever? Really? It did get easier, but then it got harder and that might be how it goes when I have fasted for 10 years. I have to keep my mind on the prize: health, not necessarily weight loss.
I'm in today as well, a lovely morning in Kent as well, sunny but cool, so lovely that I went for a run, before I could talk myself out of it.
I'm either having some of my thick vegetable soup or an egg salad for lunch, then a prawn salad for dinner.
Good luck everyone :clover: :clover:
I'm in! I think it's fish cake and homegrown peas for tea tonight, and a trip to the gym. Feel like I was a bit naughty chocolate-wise yesterday, and have got an engagement party to go to tomorrow, followed by a wedding on Saturday so I need a day of very good behaviour today!
Hello Thursday fasters!
I hope you all had a good day!
I'm in as well - spent most of the day in bed with a migraine, so that made the eating nothing easy
Not the way I want o do it in the future though....
checking in for the day! It's my 2nd fast day for the week. 5-2 helped me at work the other day. We were all working so hard that we skipped lunch and by 2 in the afternoon everyone was starving and I realized I wasn't hungry! We went out to eat and I choose a lite lunch because supper was only 2 hours away. I love 5-2 way of life!
I'm in today; just now having my green tea (almost noon here). OK so far; will have my usual: broth afternoon, peaches and yogurt for "snack," then "stir fry" (or some variation thereof; sometimes in the summer this becomes a large salad) for din din. Looking forward to a Julie's (natural brand here in the U.S.) fudge bar for bedtime snack (100 cals), my reward for being "good" the rest of the day.

Not that this is anything new, but for those that this might help--when I hit that "wall" in the late afternoon (or whenever YOU hit it), I tell myself, Do you want to WASTE all those hours of fasting/going hungry, by blowing it now? You can make just ___ more hours....
Hope its going / went well dear Thurs fasters xx
I've had a good day, I went slightly over my 500 cals but I'm not too worried about that. I hope I manage to sleep better than I did after Tuesday's fast.
Been in today. Weighed in this morning and now reached 150 grams over my interim goal. At this rate another three months to reach goal. Strangely I always seem to lose more from Thursday to Monday than Monday to Thursday even with a larger than normal meal on Sundays.
Tried on two pairs trousers when shopping, smaller size felt a smidgen tight but 'old' normal size far too large so didn't buy either. Didn't really need them but it is good to know that when next in town (three weeks) the smaller size should feel comfy.
Well done to all. Did it, but shattered :victory:
Bed
