Good morning Thursday fasters I hope you are all feeling tip top and determined to have a great fast day. This is my second fast day of the week and I will have just black tea, coffee and water until around 7.00 pm when I will have zucchini spaghetti with avocado and basil pesto with a cashew nut cheese. I undertook a vegan challenge with my daughter during lent and have come to really like some of the recipes I tried. At lunchtime I will have a walk around a local oval to distract me whilst my colleagues are in the lunch room! I find it easier fasting at work than at home.
Happy Thursday fasting everyone - how will you be spending your fast day?
Good morning from yesteday's half of the world!

I'm in today too ... to begin right after a mysterious "hot pot" dinner that my son and daughter-in-law of 5 days have planned.
Good morning! I'm in today - second fast of the week. I'm missing my coffee this morning since we had a rocky night with the kiddo but I'm drinking my green tea like a champ.
Planning a small walk at lunch to listen to an audio book and get some fresh air and then dinner tonight of salmon and veggies.
Hi all - I am in today too! Hi @MelbMandy - I have a plunger coffee on fast days about mid morning - and include the splash of milk in my daily calorie count. Helps get through the day at work. Love that caffeine!

Cashew nut cheese! That's something new to look out for. :-)

Good luck to every one today :clover:

Cashew nut cheese is just 1 cup raw unsalted cashews blitzed with 1 tablespoonful of nutritional yeast and 1 teaspoon of salt. I make a batch and keep it in a jar in the fridge. Sprinkle it on everything - especially nice on avocado on toast (on non fast days of course!)
Hi everyone! I'm in today too! This will be my second fast of the week. I've started the day with a green tea and I intend on drinking at least 4 pints of water throughout! I won't eat until this evening when I hope to have pretty much what I had on Tuesday: cabbage, egg, baked beans - and Weetabix! Strange combo but seemed to work well last time! ;) Mind you, last time I went to the cinema to keep me away from food. Hm, not sure what's on this evening. Might have to go again!

Sadly, I'm allergic to nuts so I can't join you two with your nut cheese thing - but I wish you well with it!!

Good luck my fellow fasters!
Bean xxxx :starving:
Well, not much happening on here today. Only 3 of us?!!
I've had my cabbage, egg and baked beans - now I'm just waiting for my Weetabix to enjoy - whilst watching "MasterChef"! Crazy I know - but someone has to do it! Besides, tomorrow? Chocolates!
How's your fast going/gone today?
Bean :starving:
I'm in today, checking in a little late. Just had my after work meal of an omelette with parmesan and salsa. Hope all you fasters are doing well (or more likely, DID well....).

Ooh, forgot to say: Today is my 200th light day, yeah!
I had such a good fast on Thursday that I decided to throw in an extra fast this week and fast today (Saturday) as well. We'll see how I go. I think I find it easier to fast when it's cooler weather. I remembered my old trick of Miso soup and enjoyed that on Thursday.
Plus copious cups of green tea seem to help too!
