Fasting today, Thursday 7 July
06 Jul 2016, 22:53
Morning all from soggy Sydney. I'm here for my second fast of the week and feeling good!
I have an indulgent weekend planned as I am going away with friends for my birthday so it is good to give my system a bit of a boost before that. There is a nasty lurgy going around my office at the moment so I am on tea and lots of water today with the occasional precautionary apple cider vinegar with warm water and a teaspoon of manuka honey to keep the bugs at bay.

Happy Thursday fasting everyone. I will be popping past @justdee's current challenge tent later to see how everyone is there

I am with you today @Pilchards. Miso soup for lunch and veggie schnitzel for dinner.
Soggy here in Melbourne today too. After having such dry dry weather for the past year I had been hoping for rain, but we have now had good rains for the last month or so. Great for the garden and the farmers.
Sorry to hear the cold lurgy is lurking. I hope you can shake it off so you can really celebrate. Happy Birthday :cake: for the weekend!
Thanks @Merrymelb, my son and daughter-in-law live in Melbourne too so I have heard how wet it has been.

I have had two cups of tea with a splash of soy milk today and will have a healthy buddha bowl with wild and brown rice, lentil dahl, kaleslaw, coconut mint yoghurt and tomato relish from my favourite salad bar called Thrive. It comes in at about 300 calories and is very satisfying
Hi everyone. I have friends visiting Melbourne at the moment, meeting their first grandchild for the first time. Don't expect the rain will be dampening their enjoyment!!
I'm in fasting, second fast of the week. Water and tea until this evening and then fresh mackerel and veg.
First day with a Fitbit so I will be aiming for 10000 steps too.
Have fun X
Howdy! Just to say, although not exactly a fast day, I shall be only having 800 cals today and skipping breakfast. I'm doing this on a daily basis at the moment so thought I'd pop in and say hello. So, 'hello'!!
Good luck everyone, here's to a great fast day
BEan
Forgot to pop in and say yes, fasting today, finally my second one in one week. On Friday morning I always put my weight into the tracker but I don't think it will be great tomorrow. I've been eating well, three alcohol-free days, lower carbs most days, except for muffins and pastries at work yesterday and couple of nights home-made brownies after dinner... Oh well, I went to the gym and did nearly 14,000 steps today so I have given it my best shot.
Choppy birthday pilchard'hope you have a great weekend. Yes it's very wet and miserable here in Melbourne.
Second fast of mine didn't go so well again this week,I feel I am dodging all the germs going around as well.
Take care everyone
I hope you have a fantastic birthday @Pilchards!!

I'm in for a light day today - Aiming for somewhere around 750 calories. We'll see. I'm starting to think about buying myself a new dress for Paris, and that's inspiring me to behave again this week. I tried on the dress I was going to bring, and it's already barely wearable, as it is a little large on me. Back in April it was too tight to wear in public! I'd like to lose another 16 or so pounds before my trip, so I definitely think this dress will look silly on me by then.
Hi Thurs. fasters - I'm in ,even if I just figured out today is Thurs.!
