I'm in today...3rd fast of the week (one more to go!) Haven't eaten a thing but am looking forward to what sounds like a delish M&S meal with salmon, scallops, pasta and spinach. I can't wait!

I'm doing my second fast of the week today. I usually fast on Friday but I may be going to a friend's birthday bash tomorrow - if the roads are passable after more snow tonight - so I want to be able to have a piece of cake.
It is only 10 a.m. here and I have a long way to go but I'll be at work soon, over the lunch hour, so that will get me through until 3 when I will make myself a tofu stir fry. It is so filling with so many vegetables and a tiny 1/8 cup portion of rice. I don't go completely carb free because I don't feel full without a bit, at least. I work at a fast food restaurant but surprisingly don't get hungry making all the sandwiches. Yeah! makes fasting on work days so much easier. I've lost 3 lbs this week, must be some water weight but it is rewarding to see the scales go down. Much easier to be motivated. I gained so much in the past month and a half despite fasting two days a week, but I'm determined to lose it all and then some. I've been eating to my TDEE on non fast days so I'm sure that is helping. Before I ate what I wanted and how much I wanted. Not surprising I gained!

I'm in today, back to twice weekly fasting until I get back to my maintenance weight. I usually only eat at dinner time on fast days but today I had a 300 cal lunch, so I only have 200 cals left for dinner, hope I am going to be able to sleep tonight!!
I'm in for my 2nd fast for the week! I'm SO looking forward to going out for a nice meal tomorrow night! Weigh in tomorrow to see how the first week of the new year has gone. I feel like it has gone well, but who knows what the evil scale will say!?

4th day of fat fast and have discovered taramasalata works so more variety!

Fingers crossed for a lb loss in the morning to get to 7lb this week!
7lb in one week? Thats pretty impressive Madcat @Madcatlady. Well done :smile:
My day is nearly over. The Seafood Linguine I had from M&S was simply delicious! And only 412 calories. I was able to have a highlights hot chocolate and still have 50 calories left...not used! :shock:
All in all I'd say today was a pretty good fast :smile:
Now roll on tomorrow :wink:

@nursebean - call me a snob but I think M&S ready meals are the only ones worth having!

Dad has been unwell today so I'm only just catching the day up! Did I fast? Not mindfully - but it was low cals, so I'll try fasting on Friday :shock: Or perhaps I'll join @Sallyo on Saturday :shock:

I'm here today! Finishing up my 2nd fast of the week. Not such a great one. It's very cold here, but I planned to have soup and tea and coffee - all of which are good for a freezing fast day. For some reason I convinced myself that I needed a more delicious, filling soup! Oh well, should still be pretty close. Good luck everyone!

I've been in today. Had my broth about 5pm, then a hardboiled egg about 7pm. Went (indoor/rink) skating with a friend and just had my dinner (230 cal stir fry), looking forward to a little treat in a couple of hours.
