Here we are again. I haven't lost as much weight as I did initially, but that is only to be expected. I was just looking at my calendar and I have two weeks more of this left. I wonder what weight I'll be then? But little by little does it, eh? Anyone else fasting today?
Thank you for starting us off @Margotsylvia!
It's the end of my fast day. Just finished dinner and will have some berries with a dollop of yogurt to finish off the day.
Can I ask why you are planning to end your 5:2 in two weeks time? Or are you just taking a break?
Little by little is the way to go.... Good luck :clover:
Yes, I am fasting today. I'm working 1pm-9m which helps. I'll take in a tuna salad with a couple of oatcakes and have it at about 5pm and that will be me for the day.
Today was my 2nd fast for the week BUT failed by mid day I was driving around going to my next cleaning jobs and had an hour to spare,so chose to stop and buy something to eat. I feel angry but it's done now.
I'm in today, although I'm having more of a "light" day and not being strict about 500 calories. I'll have a smaller eating window.

Tough part is that I have a party to go to tonight, and it's kind of mandatory as it's for the volunteering I do. So I plan to have a large salad right before I go :-)
My one and only fast day this week is nearly done; three coffees with milk, a stock cube at about 4pm, the Mexican pizza from the original book and three almonds at about 9pm. All up it shouldn't be too much over 500 calories. Litres of water throughout the day. I prepared a quinoa/pumpkin/leek salad for lunch tomorrow and am already looking forward to that. Perhaps I'll try to skip breakfast tomorrow, to make up for the lack of fasts lately.
As the saying goes @newgirl..."pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again".

So many of us have done what you've done....and will do again. Forgive yourself! It's no big deal in the grand scheme of things...

You've got options - either look forward to a better fasting day next week...or do one tomorrow. Notice I'm not suggesting you should aim for Saturday or Sunday! All of this is your choice - no one else's.

Be kind to yourself...it's a long road we're on. You can do it.....
I'm in today too! Munched through a bowl of Cheerios whilst watching the footie (hoorah!!) and have a salmon salad to look forward to tonight
Hope your fast is going well too!
Bean xx
I'm in today; I came by earlier, but the forum wasn't working, glad it is now! Will have my cup of broth in a bit.

I have to go to the Olympia office on Monday, my usual light day; I can't sub Sunday (dinner for Father's Day), so I guess I'll have to sub Tuesday. Can't fast when going to Oly; I need the calories to stay awake with the sleep deprivation and 150 mile commute. I'm too paranoid to skip a day, I worry my naughty voice will take over if I do. BTW, today is my 222nd fast day; I keep track in a journal...
Arriving late as cdnt get onto the forum earlier for some reason
Another fast sorted..a little high cal wise ( 600-650) but nice long fasting hours of repairing and resting the system!
Hopefully doing some good healthwise! X
I couldn't get on to the forums either - kept getting an error message. I was here too. Had a reasonable fast day. Good all day then a bit snacky when I got home from work. Probably took me slightly over the magic 500 but ho hum, tomorrow is another day......
