Fasting today, Thursday, May 14
14 May 2015, 03:29
Wow, no thread yet. I thought Thursday was a popular day…

I'm back from my Chicago trip, where I overate like crazy (really really good food, though--so very satisfying). It's 1230 here. I've already had about 250 calories! I was starving at lunch time, so I had some chicken, plus I always have a soft-boiled egg for brekkie.

Anyway, good luck Thursday fasters! :clover: :clover:
Wow I can't believe how quiet the forum has become? :( I remember 'back in the day' the Mon and Thurs threads were crazy!

I'm in.. having some la zuppa soups (23 cals each), cherry toms, cucumber and crab sticks during the day and for dinner it's zucchini 'spaghetti' with tuna, yoghurt and a squeeze of lime and four plain rice cakes!
I'm in! I've been fasting regularly although I haven't been joining in here. I've been busy, sick, busy and busy. I'm sticking to 5:2 and expecting weight loss when it happens. All the best Thursday fasters! :victory:
@chinchin I hope you are feeling better! My internet is grrr .... problematic, so I have been a bit quiet recently. It's still not mended ......
Anyhow, I'm in. Fizzy water and tea until dinner time. Egg salad today
Happy fasting everyone.
I am also fasting today. Only black tea so far and it feels empty. I'm thinking of all the food I'll be allowed tomorrow!
I was very pleased at my daily weigh-in this morning, I was only 900 g over my 'goal weight'. This week is the first time I have not fasted on a Tuesday as well, for a long time. Trying to see how this maintenance with one fast day a week will work this time round. It is the third time of trying to maintain... It always takes me a long time to figure out things for myself!
Good luck fellow fasters, it is so good to know that I am not alone in this struggle....
I'm in but had a busy day today. Had to go help my grandparents this morning and then Autism parent support meeting this afternoon. Back home now and completed 10000 steps already today so all good.
Egg and ham salad for dinner.
I'm in! Only calories so far from milk in my morning cuppa (tea), mid morning coffee and another cuppa now. Tummy now rumbling, I'm looking forward to eggs on toast in an hour or so!
It's interesting how the forum is so much less busy these days. Maybe 5:2 isn't new and exciting. Maybe original fasters are happily maintaining. Hope so!
I think that you may be right, @Golarne. Lots of us are maintaining now and others are doing Monday, Wednesday Friday fasts. I fasted on Monday but that did the trick and I am now back to my target weight, so no fasting for me today! Good luck to all of you who are. :clover: Keep busy, keep hydrated and look forward to tomorrow! Onward and downward! :victory:
Checking in from western U.S., in today for my usual Thursday light day. Currently drinking my pot o' green tea; not quite 11:30am here. Broth as late in the day as I can push it (typically 4pm or so), eat as late as I can (typically 9pm or so), most likely a Beyond Meat strips and veggie stir fry or "soup." Reminds me, I need some more spinach!
It is 9pm UK, salad and an egg did me fine today. Back on the fizzy water and tea WITH milk.
@ferretgal I love my greens too
