Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.

@philxjr was going to ask if it was Download? I was going this year after missing a couple of years but decided I couldn't justify spending that much on just me. Hubby doesn't do festivals because he can't bear portaloos! Had to read texts from my sister all weekend telling me how great everything was :)

In for a fast today. I'm maintaining with 16:8 and lowish carbs but had a bit of a carb blowout at the weekend and need to get it under control. Yoga tonight which will keep me busy and stop me nibbling!
@SianS read your posts today and noticed that we are going almost neck and neck with BMI, weight loss and date of joining! I am also now 5 lbs above that elusive goal! (It was more at the weekend but I did a 16:8 on Sunday.) I don't think I will reach my Solstice challenge goal, but will carry on - it's very important not to stress as this will always be our WOL (my OH also on 5:2 a year). Have talked severely to myself and feel great to have started up exercising again and am trying to keep within TDEE except on fasting days of course. Do well today and come zooming down by tomorrow! :clover:
Hi @Katharina my Fast was not quite as good as it should have been, but probably around 600 cals. I had a good 6.5 mile walk today so I hope this will have helped a bit.
Like you I feel the key is getting the non-fast days back under control, for me it's keeping off the booze during the week.
I hope yours went well

Got the new Linkin Park album on full blast- it's GOOOOOOOOD!

It was great thanks jane. Really enjoyed it. Drank and ate to much but had a laugh and saw some good bands. Aerosmith were amazing. Not my fav band but we're really good. My fav was still volbeat. If you not heard of them have a look on YouTube. They are great.

Hi loulou 'twas great. This is my 4th year after a long break after monsters of rock days. The portal loos were great this year. They had cleaners at them all the time. Never saw a dirty one which makes a change. Try and talk him round for next year :).
I'm managed a fast today, but am starting to struggle now! I could do with going to bed! :frown:
Woohoo good fast under my belt today. Just one meal of quorn mince, onions, mushrooms and cabbage. Tuesday might be my new Monday; as I'm out at yoga all evening I can't snack.
Just checking in - rather late! Had a good fast day and was out at Flower Club this evening, so that was a big help with preventing the evening munchies! Hoping to maintain at 144 pounds this week. Hope everyone else had a good day?
