Yesterday was a holiday in the US, and I celebrated by eating all day. Happy to be fasting today. I'm planning on a nice big salad for lunch.

Happy fasting!
@BeautyNovice I'm joining you today. I have not been on the forum since before Christmas, but now am ready to lose the weight I gained while having a lovely time somewhat uncontrolled! BUT Gym, dog walks and 5:2 went on all through the holidays, so imagine how disastrous it might have been without all that!
Let's all have a great fast, feel well and happy with it! :clover:
I'm in as well. Still trying to decide what to make for dinner. I know it will be chicken and some non-starchy veg. But I want warm, so salad is out.
I'm fasting today too. I am trying really hard to stick to 500 calories!! I have my dinner planned out.
Hi all; I'm in today as well, subbing today for yesterday. I also decided not to fast on a holiday; plus, I went (indoor, weather crappy here) skating last night, and it's difficult on a fast day, as the skate is right when I eat on a light day: don't want to eat early, can't eat later. I find it easier to fast on work days, I have it down to a routine and find it works better for me; I work at home, so I just keep to my routine and it's all good. Just after 10am here, so I've had only coffee, will make my pot o' green tea soon...no food till 6pm or so. I find that the more "automatic" I can make my 5.2 habits/days, the easier it is for me to stick to it.
I'm in too - 2nd fast of the week. Nearly through - just half an hour to dinner now - soup & chicken & a nice cuppa.
Hope its gone well for everyone.
I am also fasting today. I've been doing a lot of 1,000-1,200 calorie days since the holidays, but haven't done a real fast day because I thought I'd give myself a week to eat normally and then get back to fasting. Unfortunately, I got bronchitis and was sick for a week, so decided to wait until I was well again. So now, I'm back on the fast wagon, and am determined to have a successful day! Currently drinking sparkling water and have green tea for later. Planning on a late lunch of granola and yogurt and then a dinner of lots steamed veggies.
I fasted today, and it went well. I kept very busy, hence the reason I'm declaring this late in the day.
Food tomorrow, and another fast on Thursday.
I'm a bit late ....for some reason I couldn't login to the site last night. But I did a successful Tuesday fast! All went well with veggies for lunch, and a small serve of beef pie and veg for dinner.
Wednesday will be a bit of feasting as I am going out for Korean food - which I love! Back to fasting on Thursday.
cheers
