Well it's 2pm here and I'm fasting, anyone else? Feeling hungry and a little bit in need of wet fish and clippity, clippity, clop. I'm hoping it will be over soon!, at least the torrential rain has stopped and it's just showers now. Good luck anyone fasting and if u have a fish or a horse throw it my wY!
Fasted today and ate your fish tonight 100 degrees outside here in the southwest but the farm markets are loaded with great veggies! Now in bed and will try to fall asleep wo thinking ...food! Here we go gearing up to get on track after fair week last week,
I'm also fasting, @GMH. Back from a lovely holiday, did some walking but lovely eating and drinking too. My weight gain of 4 lbs would no doubt have been higher without the regular fasts we slotted in. Back into routine again and I can lose. Watched MM's Horizon programme yesterday and he's confident he can now set about losing the 3 kgs of internal FAT he gained in 4 weeks.( Experimenting on himself by taking in much more red and processed meats.)
Good fasting for everyone else doing it today. :clover:
Yep, I'm in for my second fast. Not doing much today as the rest of the week will be busy.
I am in today as I didn't quite make it yesterday. I really need this fast as have had a bit of a blow out long weekend.

The springy fally challenge is looming and I'm not going to get there doing what I have been doing.
Go forth and fast you Terrific Tuesday folk! :like: :clover:
Glad youre home safe @Carieoates after yr long drive x!
It's been a while...but I'm back and feeling better with my eating :)
Yes I'm in today back2back with yesterday because of events I've got on this week here goes with second of my 4:3 week.
:clover: Good luck to all fasting today. :clover: :clover: :clover:
I usually do monday and thursday but gave myself a day off with dentist yesterday. So it is just 5pm and had first sustenance of some soup. I think I am doing OK on the fasting bit but weight is not shifting but yo yo ing about the same pound like it did for month of July. At the moment it seems to be more realistic to claim a pound a month rather than a week. I fear I am stuck and will have to keep up 5:2 just to stay where I am :( I do not think I could cut down more from fast day. I dont think I could bear to go 4:3 either... I enjoy my food too much to subject self to more deprivation.
I'm also fasting today (usually Monday). Although I'm still experimenting with a fast day structure, I found out last week that I really benefit from a bigger lunch. I had a small bowl of yoghurt for breakfast, soup for lunch, which basically set me up for the day. I bought a beef and chorizo pie to share with my fellow faster but I could barely finish my half. I'm completely stuffed.
Hello @gym-sparkle-90 - nice to see you again!

How's things been going lately?

:rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:
@Cobham funny thing is I do 4:3 for the same reason you don't, I LOVE food. The difference for me is 4:3 eat WHATEVER I want 4 days a week, have great weight loss, easier somehow to slot back into fast after just 1 day of feasting. 5:2 either very little weight loss, eating whatever I want 5 days a week, or pretty much watch what I eat 5 days a week I.e. diet. It's easier than you think and you lose the weight in a timely fashion. You could try and if u hate it...eat :-)
@hazelnut20 things are much better now thanks, and I'm glad to be back
Good post there GMH! Second attempt at a reply to you :)
Yes I will go read up on the 4;3 option but for the moment a busy few weeks ahead so will be a challenge to get two days of fast in. Being coeliac, I think I overdose on 'treats' to compensate.

Thanks for encouragement, easy to lose heart. I keep focused on losses to date and how far I have come. I would hate to go into reverse at this stage so even to hold the line is an achievement of sorts.
