Anyone else here? I'm out tonight, but not eating during the day and hopefully having something light later. Good luck to anyone joining me :clover:
Are you really all alone today? I'm still fasting; will open my window around 2 or 3 pm.
@eEgduf and @barbarita have a good day, I am here too with you but was too busy to write in. We've stacked a load of dry logs, done lots of chores, all getting ready for a week in the Pyrenees from Thursday. ( Half Term) must pack soon, as teaching continues to the last moment. We will continue with the fasting regime, and we are self- catering, which helps.
I'm in today as well...not many of us though. I'm not long home from work, had a couple of oatcakes with hummous, will go to the gym on a wee while then I'll have a quality burger with salad later. After dinner I'll be making some Christmas cards.
I'm in today but have been too busy to post until now, when I should be preparing an early dinner because I'm out this evening! No problems today - I've kept busy on the computer this afternoon and had a meeting this morning, where I avoided the biscuits! I also had half an hour to fill before my flu jab so I had a pot of tea in a lovely tea room where the cakes looked totally delicious - and I didn't even try one! Now that is a real triumph for me! :victory:
So I am entering the home-straight of this fast day feeling very virtuous! Let's hope that pride doesn't come before a big fall later on, when I come back from my meeting convinced that I'm starving! :starving: Note to self: Must stay strong!
Good luck everyone! :clover: :clover: :clover:
I'm in today , and like @StowgateResident I've been too busy to post until very late. Today was a beautiful day and tomorrow is forecast to be horrible so I've been out making the most of the sunshine. Amongst my outdoor activities was steam cleaning the BBQ, so that it will be in a good state next Spring.
I think I've gone bit over my 500 cals, having had a bowl of thick tomato soup for lunch and some chicken casserole and steamed veg for dinner. I'm finding that Fasting but not rigorously calorie counting is working for me.
I got back from a walking holiday in France on the 6th Oct and weighed in at over 160 lbs. Since then I've been avoiding carbs, not eating till lunchtime, and limiting alcohol to weekends. All that combined with (so far) 3 fast days and I'm down over 5lbs.
I'm happy, I feel that this strategy is working and is sustainable, just another 14 lbs to go
