Good gracious! What on earth is happening with our fasting today threads?
None on Sunday and 2 o'clock in the day here and no thread!
So, I can't be the only one fasting today, can I?
Who's in to keep me company? The Antipodean chapter will be nearly finished I think...and it's mid morning in UK.
Come on everyone! Give me a helping hand, please...
Golly, you're lonely in here today. Just popping in to give support as Tuesday is not one of my usual 4:3 days.

The board is getting so slow and dead. It'll be grinding to a halt I fear. Where is everyone? Hangout? Facebook? or just not contributing?

It was quite quiet on Saturday too. I'm doing a modified fast today (750 cals), as I've decided to do three fasts this week. And this is number two. Have just had a tasty meal of homemade mushroom and walnut burger in a Warburton Thin. I cooked it in a speck of M&S Chilli Oil, and my lips are now quite dead. So that's 400 cals gone. Not sure yet about tonight. Currently craving poached eggs, asparagus and tomatoes, so might have them around 6pm. Good luck to others fasting today. We few. We happy few.
I'm usually in on a Tuesday, I can't seem to face Mondays (and sometimes swim on a Monday evening).

Work just about done, I've kept to coffee, skimmed milk, a couple of mints and lots of sparkling water. Feeling a bit colder today, despite it being warm - haven't had that for a while on a down day. I'll eat after my visit to the osteopath tonight, hope my stomach isn't too loud.

Hope it goes well for the rest of the day for everyone.
Hello all, newbie here. I'd love some encouragement. I tried fasting yesterday and just couldn't do it, got to thinking too much about food. I did stay in a 16:8 range, though, and kept within my 1400 calories. Discouraged with my scale. Apparently I was down to 128 lbs last Thursday and by today I was back up to 130.8 lbs! Not happy, so hoping I can stick it out today, and then try the 16:8 system on the other days of the week, which is relatively easy as long as I watch my calories. I haven't decided which day will be my second fast day yet. I pigged out on the weekend when I had my sisters over for lunch, no doubt the reason I gained. Just had a smallish spinach salad with a boiled egg, guessing about 175- 200 calories with the seeds I put in the salad. I'm looking forward to my evening meal of roast veg and greek chicken. Now I'll go sip some tea outside. It is gloriously warm for a fall day here in Canada, 20 degrees C!
