Fasting today?

Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.

Here we go again. Coffee, water 1/2 an Atkins chocolate decadence bar packed, some sort of yet to be determined veg for dinner. Onwards and downwards all. Good luck.
Hi GMH,
I'll join you. After a decadent few days of food my body is grateful to fast today. Hot and sour soup for dinner and lots of water and tea till then.
I'm in today too. Monday was our Labor Day holiday and I woke up with a low blood sugar - can't start a fast day like that, so I moved it to Tuesday. Coffee, water and tea until dinner, then a fresh zucchini stir fry with some lean pork loin and 1/2 c. quinoa for dinner. That will wrap it for the day.
Good luck terrific Tuesday fasters!
I'm glad to be fasting today after a very decadent ten days for which I am paying the price. Now almost back to routines around work again, and "repairs"! Will I lose that gained weight? I have every reason to believe I will.
"Steadily onwards and downwards" - have a good day everyone!
I'm in today again as yesterday's fast turned into a disaster when I got home in the evening - I'm not really in the zone (wherever that is) at the moment. Thanks to all on the thread yesterday for their good wishes re my neck btw - much appreciated.
Fasting today so that's two medium eggs scrambled in the microwave for breakfast. Having to take a morning tablet with food at the mo, otherwise I think I would wait till dinner. Roasted veggies for tea today. Off for Reiki soon, followed by gruelling physio exercises at our local spa area....where the national health service also pays for one to spend an hour or so taking the waters!! Encouraged by losing weight last week.
If you speak Luxembourgish, ignore the banner below. I'm working out how to change it...
I'm in today - for some reason I have trouble fasting on Monday, but have no problem after a day back at work. I may only get one fast in this week as working away from home later on, so had make the most of today.

Came in early and walked to work through Regents Park, always a nice way to start the day.

Good luck to all :clover:
Day drawing to a close for me, but bumpy with more (naughty:-) dog problems and had to drag myself and said dog to vet after working and a 4 hour commute, no time to eat. Anyway went a couple of hundred over after slamming 1/2 protein bar down b4 vet. But the good news is my work pants are loose so hopefully at my weekly weigh in the morning it will be good news. Good luck all you northern hemisphere folk
@Egduf i love Regents Park, used to work by there many years ago.
Good luck everyone on this tremendous tuesday xx
Ps @GMH hope you and doggy are ok x
@CandiceMarie Yes OK thanks, Danny just ate his stitches, sorted now :-)
I'm in today. The reality is that my weight is creeping up and I need to reign it in. Back on ADF and am committed to doing it properly again. Good luck Tuesday fasters! :like:
I'm fasting today boys and girls. I failed yesterday because I started a new job and lunch has been provided these last two days...avoided it today though
I do hope I won't be ex-communicated or blacklisted from all future challenges when I admit the following........

#20 reporting in.....with nothing but bad news :bigfrown: :bigfrown: :bigfrown: :bigfrown: :bigfrown: :bigfrown: :bigfrown: :bigfrown:

School holidays....blah......birthday celebrations....blah.....stress.....blah......lack of exercise......blah.....low mood....blah...eating everything in sight.....blabitty blah!!!!

Yes folks....I have excelled myself last week.....and put on 4.2lbs - shock, horror. That would be 4.2 thoroughly deserved lbs needless to say! You can't go at it like I've done lately...and not pay the price.

So the result of all my mindless comfort eating is that I am now 4lbs heavier than when I started this challenge. It's actually a blinking miracle it's not tons more, I can tell you...

Still, once I've given myself a thorough talking to, I'll be ready to wipe the slate ready for the Crimble challenge...or whatever we are going to call the next one! Normal service will be resumed...shortly!

Oops! I've just realised I am posting in the wrong thread! Have wrongly chosen the Fasting Today thread...oh dear.....can anyone move this to the Springing into Fall thread, perchance??! So sorry......

Hello all!

Am fasting today with you all. Nothing solid has passed my lips yet....but I'm just about to heat up some chunky soup before I faint!!

For reasons I have already written by mistake on here rather than on the SintoF challenge thread (!) I have had to take myself by the scruff of the neck today and make myself fast! Actually, it hasn't been too bad so far (ha ha, just typed "fat" instead of "far" - talk about a Freudian slip!!) - by this time of day, it feels like I'm home & dry, so that's good!

Hope it's going well for everyone xx

Bit late, but I'm in today as well, creating a buffer for a few feast days later this week. Smooth fast, only suffering a bit from cold feet (as happens more often on fast days). Putting on some winter socks in September takes care of that
