Here I am, fasting today instead of yesterday. Just had a black coffee. Lovely sunny spring day so here goes.
@Sallyo happy fast day to all. I'm off to bed! Pleased to hear spring is springing, you know what that means for other side of the globe ..... help :heart:
I'm fasting too today. I find Monday is too difficult as I'm dealing with return to work after the weekend. My head is back into the week by Tuesday so I have geared myself up for it!! Couple of spoons of yoghurt with my cuppa this morning and feeling empowered! Over ate a bit at the weekend what with meals out and stuff.
I'm joining you too and am back after a bit of a break in routines. I guess I put on weight but not so badly, enjoyed lots of food and wine treats, but we all know how to level off again. Home from a family jamboree at the coast of Anglesey/Wales, and we had superb sunny weather all the time. Now teaching is revving up again and days noticeably shorter with morning mist today.

I'm in today too, instead of my usual Monday fast. So far I've had 1 tea, 1 coffee and a bowl of vegetable soup. It was a chilly start to today round my way though, and I always feel the cold really badly on fast days! :clover: to all fellow fasters today
Have a good one, Tuesday fasters. Good to see you back, @Katharina. I was wondering where you had gone. My day is done and I've done all right. I had to have a gingerbread biscuit this afternoon because a friend took me out for coffee for my birthday. But then I had pea soup for tea and a slice of bread and a very very small amount of lemon delicious pudding and that was it. I reckon I did ok. Back on Thursday. xxxx
I'm back from The Mins family tour of a small bit of the States, 4 lb heavier, not bad for all the eating I did!
Today is my first fast in, oh a long time and it's going good :)
I am in following the holiday weekend (here in the US). Busy at the office, so that is keeping me focused. Brought a lemon in to add to my water. I worked out with trainer this morning, so was a bit nervous about fasting today, but so far, so good. With the short week and going away for part of next week, Tue/Thur work best for me this week, so hoping I can just put my head down and get it done!
So nice to see some familiar names i havent come across for a little while..! X @minsmum yr trip sounds fab! Well done on keeping a lid on things...not easy when on hols and in US of A!

or twice..its lovely that folk still pop in and keep the gang going.
I ended up fasting today- love it when it happens unplanned!
Just two pieces of fruit earlier,some roast chicken and lettuce right now and voila! Another fast n repair day done!

Hello my fellow bean @Lizbean I haven't bean around lately because I have found fasting doesn't help my ME. I've bean doing Slimming World and so far lost almost a stone. It suits me better and I've got more energy as a result. Feel naughty posting on here but I miss you all. How are you doing fellow bean?

I'm in today instead of Monday; yesterday was a holiday here and thought it'd be easier when working. Also had a weird day on Sunday; good thing, got back in touch with an old friend; bad thing, I had only coffee and a pastry till late afternoon and it messed me up! (I do better eating nothing than having sugar first thing...) :bugeyes: So not only did I not want to fast on my day off/holiday, thought I needed the food yesterday to stabilize me again. How many times do I need to learn this lesson??? (In my defense, the cafe doesn't have anything other than sweets...but really good ones!) Haven't decided if I'm going to fast Thursday as usual, or do Friday to give me 2 days between. Got my peaches, made sure I have legal yogurt in the fridge...set for later! Think I'll do a nice big salad for din din.
