I' m in today as y'day went a bit wobbly
Good luck to all us Terrific Tuesday fasting folks! X
Ha ha @nursebean you are totally right!

Sometimes I do feel like I am wishing my Fast days away, they tend to be days when I work my longest shifts at work, don't drink and go to bed early! I have decided I need to plan at least one thing on the day to look forward to so I have bought my favourite girly magazine and I am going to read this tonight

I guess I should really remember that it is only two days a week and not the constant misery of weight watchers or similar!! I do love this WOL and its flexibility but I do also totally love food and eating and look forward immensely to treats!!

I am currently working on getting fitter but after this I must work on finding things to look forward to other than food and alcohol!! Maybe the two should be combined?!

Look you have set me off now with this getting carried away malarkey!!! I had best go back to bothering @Lizbean with all my ramblings - I don't think she realised what she signed up for!!
Im here today. Just had my dinner, so its nearly over for me. Think I am still working off the weekend splurges, so I haven't bern too hungry today.
Good for you @Spanner! I know what you mean about finding something else. I used to get a magazine...plus a HUGE and I mean HUGE bar of chocolate. Now, I think ?I'd be happy with just a magazine...and maybe a cup of coffee. Hoorah! To fasting

Bean :starving:
Nearly done, my wife had made some lovely low calorie soup for me when I got in, so I'm feeling spoiled today. I managed to avoid the sandwiches at work (which were mostly meat, so not tempting to my vegetarian palate) and just stick to my normal daytime regime of sparkling water, and coffee with skimmed milk.

We've had a short evening walk tonight looking at the bluebells, it's a lovely evening but rather chilly.

We're about to watch "The Trip to Italy" which may not be the best thing on a fasting day, given the subject (Italian Food).

Good luck to those of you in more western time zones who still have longer to go. :clover:
Am in today! Drinking herbal tea and thinking about my breakfast tomorrow. Today I had half a bag of lettuce, an apple, around 90 calories worth of m and S soup, a tasty fuller longer meal and my new fast day saviours Lakerol. They are scandinavian salty licourice pastels, and only 2 cal each. I reckon I'm a bit over today but not too strict. My concentration at work was not what it usually is on a non fast day - anyone else find that?

@nursebean thanks for looking after buddy @spanner - Woof, she went AWOL for a short time (birthday bender  in The Lakes, you know special treats like Grasmere ginger biscuits (heaven)and champagne! (indigestion). Hey buddy spanner - I'll see you in the buddy tent. Girlie mags eh? I saw this message just as I was leaving home to ....... see you in the buddy tent! Lizbean  Hope you Tuesday fasters had a great day.
I have been in today too! Bit of a mixed day.......went on a mission to buy a dress for a lunch party next week, decided to fast today as couldn't yesterday.....have only had an M&S prawn salad (some 146 cals) so far today, but just about to have some soup - hurrah!

Came home without a dress  but on the bright side of things, having shed two & a half stone so far, the dress-trying-on-process was not as traumatic as it would have been 4 months ago! Just a shame that I don't like sleeveless black short dresses, or sleeveless bright blotchy coloured short dresses.....could've had any number of them today!

Well done my fellow fasters! Xxx

Fasting day is coming to an end. Feels like 'those old fasting days': just a little hungry, but no problem at all. Scales indicate a 1 kg loss compared to yesterday. Most of it will be water and weight of food. Waiting for what happens the next days to indicate my official weight for today.
Its bedtime now... Hooray!! A successful fast day but was very busy which helped!! Hope all my fast day buddies had a successful day too! It will soon be time for breakfast! Sleep well my lovelies. :sleepy: :sleepy:
My fasting day is drawing to a close. I've just finished my Options hot chocolate and a banana and the rest of the day has been fine. I only managed one fast last week and this is my first fast of this week. I have a house full of 'treats' for my granddaughters and daughter, who are visiting from Germany, although most of them have been eaten by me! This fast day was very necessary!

Well done to those of you who have made it through the day successfully and for those of you who may have 'wobbled' - don't worry, there's always another day!
