I am fasting today after 3 days of (only moderate) overindulging. My excuse is that we have had no power since Sunday, and so my routine has been upset. We are fortunate that we have a generator that can run the fridge, some lights, and the TV (!). And we have gas hot water. But no heating apart from a log fire that only warms half the lounge, and only electric hot plate and oven - so am cooking outside in the Weber and on a portable camping stove. It's cold weather here, only around 10C, inside and out!!

But I have manage to last til almost dinner time tonight without eating. Am having a raw carrot now and then will start dinner prep.

Anyone else fasting?
Dear Sassy! I feel for you. We live in an island house, and we have a wood burning stove as well as electric, in case of storms and power cuts. Anyways I am fasting with you today. And I am my lowest weight yet, this time round, 55.6. BMI 21.72.
I tried to have a lighter supper last night, because I know cannot follow my fasting regime this coming week end. I have lost about 4,5 kg in 2 months of this, so slowly does it. Anyways, it is nice to be able to fit back into my outdoor trousers and other clothes. I do hope you get the electricity back soon!!! :clover: :clover: :clover:
I just popped in to say Hi and show some support. I'm not fasting today but aiming to keep it light. Good luck to you both. Stay strong, especially in the face of adversity, @Sassy1, and @Margotsylvia, 4.5kg in two months is brilliant so well done to you!
Thanks @Margotsylvia and @Stowgateresident

Very pleased to report that power was connected at 11.30 last night! And that I managed an okay fast day.

Margotsylvia, 4.5kg lost in 2 months is fine - it is what is normally expected for 5:2 (about a pound a week).

Thanks to you both for your support. :like:
