I wasn't going to fast today, but I did not have time for breakfast, was busy all morning, and decided to start the cleaning in the afternoon without stopping for lunch. I did have some scrambled eggs mid afternoon as I was feeling pretty hungry, and I have had an active day. And it is now nearly dinner time. I expect I won't stick to 500 calls, but a BSD fast day will be fine by me. Will see how I go (may end up eating more...).

I haven't been too bad of late re overindulging, though the amount of chocolate I have been eating in the evening has been gradually increasing... I do melt the first piece, as per ferretgal, but that doesn't stop me having more. I am thinking about joining the challenge just to give me motivation to break the habit...

Anyhow, all the best to any fellow fasters! :clover:  :clover:
I'm joining you today. I am planning to eat exactly the same as my last few Fast days, which may sound boring but makes it very easy.
I had a surprisingly light day yesterday, which wasn't planned but just worked out that way.
Good Luck Wednesday Fasters :clover:
I don't normally fast because I do 16:8. But I was very off track last week and am trying to repair. I have a busy day today (report card conferences), so I thought I would try to do a whole day fast. I do have a can of chicken soup available if I feel like I need something. But honestly I won't even have much time for it. I will have a nice chicken salad tonight. The real question is whether I will have my Starbucks Chai when I'm working on my other job (which will put me closer to 600 calories)

Sassy - I think I remember that you don't like dark chocolate much. But I do find that a few squares of dark chocolate, even though not as good as creamier chocolate, does really satisfy my sweet tooth, but is too "sharp" (for lack of a better word) to have more than 3 squares or so. Maybe worth a try?? I think you acquire a taste for it after a while.
Thanks @cblasz

Your recollection is correct. Probably I should exchange milk chocolate for dark but it is the creaminess I like, and I really don't enjoy dark chocolate. I have given it a go from time to time, but I always end up back with the milk chocolate. It's a dilemma! I didn't have any chocolate on the fast day. I just need to find - and employ - a range of techniques to manage the chocolate consumption. That being said, as I have also said, overall I am happy with how I have maintained my initial weight loss, so don't want to stress about it too much. I have had times of severely over indulging in chocolate but then have been able to regulate that somehow. It's swings and roundabouts with food consumption management.

Hope your fast day is going well! :clover:
