I decided to fast today as I am at work. Being out of the house is helpful and it saves the bother of making lunch and saves time, not eating breakfast. Any one else fasting with me today?
Hello everybody

Yes I've joined you today @Sallyo
I've been out and about and completing lots of domestic chores.

A walk is planned for early evening.

Happy fasting everybody

Cheers
Hello @Maggiee. You're firing on all cylinders! It's nearly dinner time and I've done really well. When I came home from work into the danger zone I had a clear plan : 30 minutes in the garden, 30 minutes studying Japanese and 30 minutes practising the piano. That kept me out of the kitchen and my mind off food. Now I can eat. I bought a dozen oysters! And then it's fish and salad. Yum. Bring it on!
Hiya, I'm in today too. Did really well on my Monday fast but was insatiably hungry all of yesterday which wasn't great! There was an incident with a bag of crisps that I'm not overly proud of... I hope this isn't the start of a famine reaction.

Not feeling too bad so far today - 2 cups of tea so far, then it will be veg soup for lunch, then more tea and baked chicken with veg later on. Nothing as exciting as a dozen oysters for me!
Wow @Sallyo - oysters!! I wish! I hope you thoroughly enjoyed them. You spent a lovely productive day by the sounds of it.
Scales are coming down...s l o w l y - I finally 'get' Fasting, it has taken me two long years! I did go for my evening walk, what I call, pounding the pavement but I am enjoying looking at front gardens and watching children playing outside in the early evening.

cheers
Maggie
To tell you the truth, I would't do oysters again on a fast day. I was so hungry they didn't touch the sides going down. Really oysters should be savoured over a chilled white wine.
