Ha ha ...I have just calculated the calories in my meal tomorrow .....900! Which leaves me 500 for everything else including the wine etc.

Will I stay within that? Somehow I doubt it but hey...it's only one day. :grin:

Me NOT!!! wash your mouth out Sue and quick, shhhhh go to sleep :lol:

My personal take on 5:2 is;
Fasting on Mondays and Thursdays 5:2 36 hours
Green tea all day then less than 500 calories in one meal in the evening.
16:8 all the other days, wey-hey at weekends and daily weighing
It worked for me sloooowly :-)

Goal Achieved after 9 1/2 months and now maintaining

It would appear I'm by myself then - yes I am fasting on Christmas Day! :shock:

Our main celebration is on Christmas Eve, and since I had so much yummy food yesterday AND slept in, I thought it would be easy to abstain until dinner (chicken and salad). Tomorrow will be another feasting day again! :lol:

Me neither although I am really looking forward the fast of tomorrow as I don't even know how I'll deal with today's lunch (foie gras, oysters and duck confit, really really heavy stuff.....)
