A Wednesday faster here too, Mondays fast went out of the window at about 2pm as a sudden decision to travel with hubby and have a night away with him, without the kids meant I wasn't going to spoil a lovely evening by eating a salad.
Meeting the lovely @Ballerina yesterday has kicked me back into 'I can do it mode' (so did clothes shopping and the realisation that only a few more pounds would have me down a trouser size).

So heads up and persevere for tomorrow we can eat.
Loving all the positivity on here today!

Also loving the flexibility this WOL gives us - of course you wouldn't want to spoil an unexpected night away from the kids by not eating a scrummy dinner! It is brilliant to read how fasting can be successfully fitted into our lives....and that no one needs to be a slave to weightloss and deprivation!! We can have it all!!!

I'm in for my second fast of the week...and the way I am feeling today, I will probably throw in a back-to-back tomorrow as well!

Peeps, I am motoring at the mo! Yesterday, I had the most fantastic day out shopping with my Mum in Wells & Glastonbury! The joy of clothes fitting and looking good to boot...was and is, indescribable.........even though I am nowhere near target yet!

Next Thursday, my eldest daughter graduates from Bath Uni - one of the main reasons I started 5:2 back in November last year. Photos will be posted!! And I will probably write a humongously long and gushing post as well......such is my excitement!

Good luck today, dear people!

Yes joining in today because I am trying 4:3ing again. I did think of doing ADF because of rereading Varady's book on every other day fasting, but found it inconvenient over the weekend. Anyway I enjoy my weekends off
Congrats Hazelnut20 on your daughters graduation!
Hope you all have a good fast day.

Julie, her husband and I met up yesterday for coffee and we all had a great time, much laughter especially as Julie had texted me to say she would be wearing a red Nazi dress........what? I was intrigued and couldn't wait to see what a Nazi dress looked like, no worries though as her predictive text had changed 'Maxi' into Nazi so that was another load of laughter. It was great to see you both Julie, you are such a delightful couple, good luck with the diet xx

First fast day after a long break. Only noon and feeling rather light headed! Hope to persevere! guest coming for supper but have it planned out OK...
I am in today, too! 2nd fast of the week, and I am in the office. I usually try to not eat anything during the day, as for me that would flick the "hunger-switch" and make it really difficult (learned the hard way...) . In the morning I fill up a big thermos flask with herbal tea which I drink during the day, and around 2 pm I have a little bouillon (8 cals) , and then in the evening normally I have half of a tinned thick soup (shared with OH), if I make it that far. Sometimes I am so ravenous by the time I get home that I have to have 2 scrambled eggs there and then. And then it is more herbal tea for me during the evening.

Today I am experimenting though: instead of bouillon, I am going to try bulletproof coffee inñ the afternoon! I read @ADFnfuel and @carorees' explanations that it doesn’t interrupt the fat-burning process as it doesn’t trigger insulin, so I hope to make it to the evening in a more balanced state whilst not having interrupted fat-burning. Anybody has any experience with bullet-proof coffee in the afternoon?

Good luck fellow fasters!

Good luck fellow fasters!
I bed already after a successful fast day with delicious chicken and vege soup for dinner. Good luck to everyone especially those waking up now.
Xxx
Hi @de_vi . I like bulletproof coffee but never have it on fast day. I am sure it will help with appetite but it still has about 200 calories per cup. (I make it with 1 tablespoon each coconut oil and butter).
This has been discussed previously, but a calorie is a calorie on a fast day... at least that's what I think. I try to stick to 500 max on fast days and don't use my allotment on BPC. It is quite satisfying so maybe it's the way for you to go, however.
Ok I'm in. I didn't want to fast today but haven't had anything yet and it's 2:45. Most of the day is done so I guess I'm fasting. I've got to take my daughter to see her new school in a few hours and we will be back late, which means late dinner. The rest of the day should be easy, just got to get through the next few hours.
Hope you're all having an easy fastday :)
Well done Dee you're nearly there and your plans for later should keep you occupied, you can do this @justdee :like: I'm feeling really good today and had a later than usual salad lunch so today is a 18:6 + LC  :like:
I have discovered a new ( well to me anyway) fast day "go to". Chocolate coffee..... Oh My Gawd.....delish, the smell, oh wow......I am currently in fasting heaven :)

Seriously enjoying my fast x
I'm in for my first fast day of my restart! I had a hard boot camp workout this morning, so may not be able to stick to 500 cal, but will keep it low at any rate. I'm sitting at 200 cal already and it's only 10:30AM! Currently having a cup of green tea to "tame the monster".

Have a great day everyone!
I'm in today, too. My 2nd for the week (though Monday wasn't as good as I'd like it to be). I'm back after a 15 month break, during which time I grew, birthed, and fed a baby girl. :)

It feels good to be back to this way of eating.
Joining you all today as well! I seem to be on the Monday & Wednesday track lately, though not really on purpose. It's great though when Thursday rolls around and you don't have to worry for four days!

I'm off to visit my bro and friends in NYC tomorrow so will be definitely enjoying my long weekend :)
