One of my usual 4:3 days - so, cups of broth at the ready, and our best abstemious state of mind. :)
I'm in. I didn't fast Monday like I should have, so I really need it! I'm going to try to go all day until dinner, when I'll have a nice salad!
Good morning

I am in as well. Didn't have a great fast on Monday so need to get my head sorted  . So far so good. Just need to tweak my habits a bit, adjust my fast for the colder days.

Really cold here this morning, first frost of the autumn.

Good luck :clover:
I am in and cock hoop As measured my waist and its 50.8% of my height, so nearly there.
Off to town for some new underwear. So no food will be easier. See you later for chicken and salad for dinner. M
Quick lunch-time fly-by - I've had FF Greek Yoghurt so far and will probably have some miso soup later this afternoon.

It should be an eggwhite omelette for dinner with a shredded salad on the side but if it feels too cold for that then I'll swap to a casserole of artichoke bottoms, tomato, charred peppers and aubergine.
help - struggling member here!

Fasted monday, went over by about 60 cals so not amazing. Determined to do a better one today. Problem is I'm on a half day from work, and it's much harder to not eat when I'm at home. Particularly when I know there is pizza (we had pizza hut yesterday) in the fridge which I LOVE the day after.

I think it's because food is tied up as a special treat in my head, and days off automatically mean eating yummy food, 'treating myself'

Tell me I can do it? I've got friends over tomorrow night so lots of nibbles and wine, and I will enjoy it ten times more if I've had a good fast day today....
:) Of course you can do it, @emilyandmeg.

Stick that leftover pizza in the freezer or in a red box or something where you won't see it and it can't tempt you.

Food is a delightful part of our social fabric but it can cross the point of being a strong source of reward and entertainment and some of us need to down-regulate that aspect of it. You will be able to enjoy tomorrow night so much more if you don't have a scintilla of regret or reservation about today's FD.

And, Monday's 60 calorie overage? Neither here nor there in the long-term scheme of things. See if you can reasonably knock it down in the future if you would find it helpful but it's not vaguely within-bounds FDs that are the potential issue, more being tempted by leftover pizza or having overly-generous weekends :)

thanks @SSure - great post, lots to think about. over eating on normal days is definitely something I have to watch!

I will make it through today!
I'm fasting today too. Unfortunately, I have a few meds to take and some supplements that I have to take in the a.m., so I have to have some kind of nourishment in my stomach, so I can't skip breakfast totally. I plan on tea and a Physician's Weight Manager shake (1 scoop--65 calories). Lunch and dinner will be lean protein with veggies. Iced tea, water and sparkling water with a little stevia seem to help me through the day.
Stay strong everyone!
I'm in too, although am feeling unwell today. I think there is a mild stomach bug around so it feels good to not eat anything today. I'm going to have a small beef stir fry with brown rice for dinner and hope my stomach doesn't object too much
well done fasters today. Coming to the end of mine. Bedtime in an hour (early to bed early to rise is me!)
The end of a good day in fasting-related matters tho' tiresome in others.

Best wishes to those of you who still have hours to go :clover:
