Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
Thanks for starting today's thread. I am doing my second fast for the week too. Small bowl of berries with a dollop of cottage cheese for breakfast, and a serve of cauliflower and baked beetroot for lunch (again with a dollop of cottage cheese)
Cool day here in Melbourne - I just wish we had just some of the rain that Sydney is getting (but not as much as northern UK!!)
cheers!
ps - maybe @Carorees can help fix up the duplicate fasting today threads.
I have just done a calorie count. 3 small fresh apricots - 30 calories, and I've had lunch - a boiled egg - 70 calories, grated beetroot and cabbage salad - about 15 calories. So it's baked snapper for tea with baked tomatoes, olives and capers. Should all be fine. IT all depends on how big the snapper is. It's 110 calories for 100 gm of fish. Yes, I wish it would rain. I had to laugh as someone on another thread, in the UK, wishing they were in Australia where the weather is always good! As if! I understand it is going to rain in Sydney for days. Meanwhile down where we are, drought pervades.
My fast day dinner was small piece of lean pork, with mushrooms and tomatoes. A couple of slices of pear, with cottage cheese and sprinkled with ground ginger.
Well done Sallyo on completing your 2 fasts! I hope the fish was delish.
Over to all of you in the Northern Hemisphere .......
cheers
Kebe wrote: From the northern hemisphere and it is cold and wet and on my second fast day of the week, decided this year to try and eat one meal a day as counting all the time was not good for me, now nearing what is suppose to be lunch and intend not to eat until 5pm and just drink water and tea all day. Not tried this way before but will let you know.
I find it difficult to go all day when it's cold. Do have an oxo cube, low cal cuppa soup or boulion at the ready.
We had a fair amount of rain (for us) last night, and this morning's sunshine is getting a little cloudie., So we shall see--but my little dog will be wanting a walk no matter what!. Plus, today I promised myself I would do some strength stuff. Fun!
Have a wonderful rest of the day (or night or tomorrow)!
