Fasting Today Wednesday April 6
06 Apr 2016, 06:24
Hoped to do without a fast for another week, but the numbers on the scale that I saw yesterday didn't look pretty at all  So here I am for an unusual Wednesday fast. Business as usual, so expect to see some results in the evening
Have a nice fastday
Good day everyone !

I have a busy day today - have to keep on dealing with my crashed computer and prepare the HDD for tonight - so it will be a fastday as busy days works better that way for me.

I am trying to find something else to eat for my only meal of the day than soup however it could be tricky as the chewing thing doesn't work for me, it triggers the hunger and the cravings. We'll see.

Good luck ! :clover:
Morning everyone! Just wanted to wish you well with your fasting today. @Manderley I know what you mean about chewing. That's why I always find the most difficult time of a fast day is when I'm actually eating. I then start craving all manner of things! I thought I'd have a few chocolates yesterday but then I thought better of it!! Anyway, I ended up only having 461 calories and went to bed feeling VERY pleased with myself. The scales showed a 3.5 pound loss - in a day! I guess after my hearty breakfast that is now somewhat different! Hey Ho! Tomorrow is another fast day ;)
Here's to a Wonderful Wednesday Fast - good luck! And remember: Keeeeeep drinking!!
Bean xx
I am in. Leek and sweet potato soup and prawn salad for me today. Maybe a low cal hot choc this evening.
Let's go....
I may have found an idea for tonight, I was thinking chickpeas, cauliflower and canned cherry tomatoes all that mixed together and roasted

For now it's going well, had a huge black coffee and will have a proper cup of tea later this morning
Everything is going well so far. I had another big black coffee and a tea so, when I felt a bit hungry, I defrost a small mug of the soup I made Monday which should help with the wait until tonight. I will do the cauliflower/chickpeas/tomatoes roasted, I think it will be a good change and I want to avoid boredom. There will be leftovers, Mr Manderley don't like chickpeas, so I may have to freeze it, the question is, can chickpeas be frozen ?

Hi @ManderleySure you can freeze them, the question remains: can you eat them afterwards? Perhaps this will help:

Doing fine so far, just waiting for later this evening to see some results in terms of weight (mostly water) lost.
I'm in today too. So far: 5K run. Taco salad for dinner.
Done fine today, kg down
Everything went well last night however I don't think I will do it again. It didn't feel right. Maybe I should have done it with some couscous, I don't know. Half of it is in the freezer (I waited until this morning to freeze it) for another day.
