Looking forward to my Beef Stroganoff tonight
Keep strong @loversghost. Just look to the future!
Bean
Lost over 2 pounds after the Sunday fast but immediately gained them the next day. Water weight for sure. Here we go again
Good luck everyone fasting today
I'm in today, not sure whether this will be a 5:2 or a 4:3 week. I like to to 4:3 weeks (so far), but not sure of my plans for the weekend. Fasted Monday as well.
We had a whopper of a blizzard yesterday - 24.4 inches of snow! Luckily I don't have to shovel and I have covered parking. I did get a bit of cabin fever, so I walked/paced the halls of my building in my pjs while on the phone with my mom.
Today I'm back in the office (worked from home yesterday) and few people are around. It's hard to fast when you're bored! Guess I'll just keep drinking my tea!
Oh, and I am SOOOO close to being under 200lbs for the first time in my adult life. The last two days the scale has read EXACTLY 200.0! I am hoping after today's fast I will see it drop below, if only for the day. That's almost 95lbs lost from my highest weight!
I can't believe how few are fasting today. Wednesday is normally popular because of the 4:3 bods. Hey ho!
Butterbean stew. Mmmm that sounds delish but I think I'll stick to my Beef Stroganoff. Only 1 1/4 hours to go!

@nursebean Well, honestly, the roads very close to my house were a mess, but once I got on the highways it was fine. Boston is pretty used to snow (tho this is one of the top ten storms of all time), so we clean the roads pretty quickly. Most of the schools are still closed, and many of my friends don't have work (many of my friends work for Universities), but I still had to work yesterday, albeit from home. I work with people all over the world, so very little of my work is dependent on Boston. I moved here from Miami and I hate winter, but I work in the biotech industry, and that's really big here, so I will stay put.
I find fasting at work so much easier, because I just keep refilling my tea (I don't have milk at home and the stove takes too long to heat the kettle anyway), and my day even goes faster when I'm not thinking about my next meal or snack.
Butterbean stew sounds great, as does just about anything! I have chicken with BBQ sauce and roasted brussels sprouts and butternut squash for my meal when I get home!
Oh I know how good everyone is at sorting out the sort over there. My sister is experiencing her second winter in Montreal. Its so impressive how the roads are cleared so well. We go to pieces here and everything stops...but then we don't have snow very often and nowhere near as thick as yours! I've always liked the look of Boston but never bean there. I imagine its worlds apart from Miami!
Hope your day goes well and it won't be long til dinner!
I'm currently doing 4:3 as it fits in with my week, hasn't helped having my granddaughter here after school today, as she has been after different snacks. Luckily for her she has no weight issues although, I had done a vanishing trick with all the snacks before I started this WOE.
I did get her a small gingerbread man to have with her tea and had to steel myself while she ate it. Felt SO in control!
I have 'The Hairy Bikers - Eat For Life' Cookbook and am making Beef Stroganoff from there 202cals each for me and hubs. I'm doing half the recipe amount they have given, but am doing roasted peppers, mushrooms, carrots and celery with a little spray oil.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone and happy fasting
