Fasting Tues 23rd Dec
23 Dec 2014, 05:58
Wishing everyone a happy Christmas and New Year.
I'm carrying on with my fasts as usual past Christmas and into the New Year. I love the routine, it's now second nature. :like:
I have one wish, that my weight would once more drop to where it was in October.....plateau being experienced in spite of keeping within my TDEE between fasts and I have started gym sessions again. Want to shake myself free from the tyranny of the weighing scales but it's a double check since surprisingly I can still wear and buy size 12 off the peg.
Enough said, have a successful fast day everyone! :clover:

Hi @Katharina! I'm in, too. I'm also fasting as usual over Xmas since I'm in Okinawa (i.e., no family around) and Xmas isn't even a holiday here. I have a few parties to navigate, but otherwise, I'm hoping for a healthy holiday.

Morning all. I'm in today, at work so not too much temptation around thankfully. I've been away on holiday, so have only managed last Thursday recently. I have the usual in-law functions with lots of food to negotiate over the holidays, but back in next week, so will try to get two fasts in then. I'm also thinking about doing Dry January and not having any alcohol next month, just to shift a few extra kg.

Anyhow, good luck to all fasters today :clover:

I'm in too. No distractions for me either.

Hi everyone !

I am in and will fast tomorrow as well as I can't eat anyway  Christmas is no big deal for me, except for the mince pies but I am waiting until Christmas day to eat some, so no big deal

Yup, I'm in today. Might sneak one in between Xmas and New Year too, more for damage limitation than anything!

Looking forward tonight minestrone. As the weather is not that cold, fasting is easy except I drink much much more than usual, right now I drink about 4l water a day when I fast so spend countless time in the bathroom

I may have a hot chocolate as a treat tonight, with no rum this time

Finished up today and heading to bed. This is only my third fast and so much easier than the first two. Is that typical? I'm not complaining but I was so surprised. I hope it stays that way!

I'm figuring on a day-after-Christmas fast day too this week... I'm fairly certain it'll be a welcome relief!
