Fasting Tues 9th Dec
09 Dec 2014, 06:02
It has come round again and I'm well into the routines. Just wish that extra weight would come off. The real motivation lies in feeling better after each of my two weekly fasts, knowing that deep repairs can happen! I have not been focused between fasts and am ready for a spell of calm calorie counting, carb-watching, and letting 16:8 just happen. I know it's easy, just have to do it! :like:
I'm off to the gym in the dark and cold, but have a full day planned after that.
Wishing fellow fasters a pleasing day! :clover:

I'm in, although it's likely that my meal will be more than 500 cals as I'm on site. It's going to be a loooooooonggggg day...

I'm in today. My Xmas Challenge target is 11st 12 & my weight this morning is 11st 12.25, For anyone who doesn't do stones & pounds, that's 113 grams over target! So near and yet so far ... but tomorrow morning should see me hitting the bullseye & signing off for Xmas!

As a celebration I'm doing 600 cals today, adding 2 cups of coffee with semi-skimmed & a small spoon of sugar to start the day. Apart from that though, it'll be my standard 500 cal fastday soups, chicken, 2 small satsumas & a cup of tea to round off the evening.

I think a couple of people at work have noticed my weightloss (9 lbs in 7.5 weeks) - & don't like to mention it. Esp as I've been known to include Costa hot chocolate with cream on top in my (carefully calorie counted!) non-fastday repertoire. I think I'll have to 'fess up - its possible they think I've got a horrid illness!

Good luck to everyone else who's fasting today.

I've been in today! Sorry to chime in so late in the day--been utterly blown out today. Really liking this shift to Tuesdays.. doing next Tuesday as well--just trying to work around the 6 (gasp!) Christmas-related parties/events and meetings and such at the uni over these two-three weeks. Tomorrow's Party #2...

Today was fun.. had lunch with colleagues and while they enjoyed their big bowls of chilli, I had tea. And to be honest, I didn't even experience a single hunger pang. I think these days it makes the eaters I'm with feel a bit more self-conscious than I'm bothered by it.. despite my insistence that it's not a bother in the slightest.

My low-cal version of chicken yakitori (400 calories) tonight... with some satsumas and tea for pud! Fast-on!

I'm fasting today as well but it will be a quick day for me as it's my first day back to work after a weeks holiday. So far all I've had is water and a couple of mugs of fennel tea. This evening I'll have a milky hot chocolate and that will complete my liquid fast.

Quiet here today!
