Here I am, back to a regular Thursday fast. I tried to wriggle out of it, but decided that Thursday is IT. It's pumpkin soup sometime today. Kettle boiling now for the first cuppa.
Good luck @Sallyo hmmm pumpkin soup - I love it with sage. It's 1am and I'm wriggling out of going to sleep  nearly there.
Happy fast day everyone, I'll be with you in the morning.
Hi @Sallyo, Hi @Lizbean.. Just done the grocery shopping and now Im about to go searching for an invoice I need for an insurance claim - you can be sure that because I need it I wont be able to find it :frown:
Im doing a white bean and Chicken stew for dinner, maybe some cauliflower rice to go with it.
Happy Fasting!!
Hi folks, I'm back in today too for the second (and for me, final) fast of the week. It's not even 9.30 and my stomach is rumbling really loudly in the office, which is making me feel somewhat self conscious... I'm trying to distract it with tea so hopefully it will be quiet soon. Chicken noodle soup for lunch, then cod and a heap of steamed veggies for dinner. Weigh-in day tomorrow (I weigh the morning after every 4th fast) so must stay strong. :clover: to all!
Too many grandchildren and ginger biscuits yesterday   and my tummy feels off this morning, so I'm improvising a little double cream in my usually black morning coffee, hoping the fat will calm things down. Kinda breaking my fast in a liquid sort of way I know. Hey ho. Food after 3pm until 8pm anyway, but not too much and trying to be VERY low carb too. Weight today a miserable 76.1kgs
I am fasting with you today, SallyO and Lizbean and everyone else who is.
this will be very interesting again. I weighed this morning exactly the same I weighed last Thursday am, before my fast day. That is 53 kg. I am having exactly the same supper as I had a week ago, when I lost so much. Broccoli and Steak with some onion. Haven't eaten anything as yet.
At afternoon tea time I'll have some milk in my tea. It is not yet even 13:00 hours here, so I have a long wait. But lots to do, so should be OK.
Good luck to all and sundry :clover: :clover: :clover:

Good luck to your fasting day. I really need to find time to go on liquid fasting. I feel inspired by you.
1300 and I have no appetite :like: thanks @wineoclock for the cauliflower rice reminder .... it's ages since I cooked it. I think all my locals have cottoned onto courgette spaghetti as recently the shops have been sold out. I failed to grow any veg this year due to lack of time and I'm really missing it.
http://paleoleap.com/8-creative-cauliflower-substitutions-unhealthy-foods/ has anyone tried cauliflower hummus?
Dinner is at 7.30pm - mixed seafood and salad, berries and yoghurt.
@Margotsylvia I'm intrigued to see the results of your experiment!
Good luck everyone, tomorrow is nearer than we think.
Yet again here too, but surprisingly reluctant. I am only fasting because my "all you can eat" conference is coming up and I know I'm going to be gaining a few pounds there.

But I am so ready for once a week maintenance fasting!
Worked hard at not eating today. A light snack - tomatoes in a small wrap - then out for the evening. No food there, only tea/coffee and I usually only have a black coffee even when not on a fast day. See what the scales say in the morning.
You all give so much encouragement, thanks.
Hello, hello, I am here. Big long weekend of food and drink ahead, so I'm trying to focus on that as I fast today.
Weather permitting, it should be a fairly active weekend as well so that will help. Tend to easily get in 20-25k steps per day as I eat and drink my way around town at least.
Ok, time for coffee, water refills... :like:
I had a tuna salad and a courgette omelette and that seems to have been adequate.
Hiya @CamilleSmith welcome to the forum  , there is an introduce yourself thread where you can share a bit about your journey, what your goal is etc, you'll receive a warm welcome. Some members may not visit this daily thread and see you are here. How was your day?
Coming up to 10pm ... all is good fast wise. :sleepy:
Good fasting to all out west :clover: :victory:
Hi @peebles 1 reluctant fast is better none. Is the conference food top notch? :victory:
@Lizbean heres the Chicken recipe I had with the cauliflower rice http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9021 ... -bean-stew Really nice and easy, you could pep it up a bit with more herbs, spices or chilli.
