Friday 20th November fasting
20 Nov 2015, 05:29
Back from a truly wonderful Pyrenees break. We had summer weather with autumn colours all the time! Now back on my fasting track and the forum, have lost the 2 lbs I inevitably gained....back to square one, only this time knowing that I have, not unusually, a slightly underactive thyroid and am taking the medication. It might explain my weight struggles and feeling so drained sometimes. Nothing else showed up after comprehensive blood checks - ALL good, thanks ( I bet,) to these years of fasting WOL? Continuing fasting, feeling better and positive, and coming to the end of the teaching term.
Good health and success to all fasters specially today! :clover:
I'm in today. I haven't been too regular, but now that I'm using fitbit I'm entering all my food and staying within (and often below) my TDEE, and getting the occasional fast in. I'm planning to not eat until tonight, but not worry too much if I go over 600. It's certainly helping that I'm having a "Dry November" and not drinking, apart from lowering my calorie intake I seem to have so much more time for exercising.

Good luck to anyone joining us today :clover:
Waves to Friday fasters. Hello @Katharina. You sound fantastic! You never seem to struggle with fasting. Well done @Egduf on the Dry November. Have a good one Friday fasters.
Have had to go for FD today as mucked up yesterday. Ahh well all is under control so far. 1 boiled egg and about to have another one. I give myself a pat on the back!!
@Sallyo Thanks, sometimes it's difficult (usually in the evening), but I haven't struggled today. I must admit, I haven't done too many 600 cal fasts lately, but seem to be making some progress now that I'm counting calories on normal days.
I'm fasting today. Dinner is prepped and my husband is already asking, " Is there anything I can do towards dinner?" What he really means is, 'When will you be making the dinner?' He's not even been fasting today! Unlike me, for whom not one single morsel of food has passed my lips. How can he be hungry, if I'm only a little peckish? It must be all in the mind!
:clover: Good luck everyone. :clover: Stay strong until bedtime! Onwards and downwards! :victory:
